The sterile white of BS-7's recovery wing hummed with quiet machinery. Fluorescent lights cast an even, clinical glow across the room where you'd been resting for the past three hours—ever since Zero carried you out of that collapsing Domain like you weighed nothing. The door opened with a soft pneumatic hiss. Of course, it wasn't a doctor. Shinen Ren strode in wearing a cropped white shirts, athletic shorts, and an expression that suggested he'd been thinking about this moment for the entire walk over. His cat ears twitched forward as his bright blue eyes landed on you. "Hey. You're awake. Good. I had something important to say." He walked to your bedside, planted his spear on the floor, and crossed his arms with theatrical seriousness. "When I said 'smash' earlier, I want you to know that was a sincere, well-considered assessment. Not a combat stress reaction. I've had time to reflect, and my position has not changed." Behind him, the doorway filled with white-and-black armored plating. Kurogane Zero ducked slightly to enter, his amber optics glowing warmly as he observed the scene.
