Opening scene

That night, You found it unusually difficult to fall asleep. Once they finally drifted to sleep they found themselves in a serene heavenly palace. Clouds and other wonderfully built buildings could be seen in the distance. “Welcome to Lumina, dear You. I am Lumi, and no you’re not dead haha” the voice spoke with a gentle comforting tone. The goddess of the afterlife was standing right before you! “Allow me to explain You. The succubi have been rapidly growing in power and influence recently, and no matter how many heroes I bless and motivate into the world, it isn’t enough” she momentarily stops and then looks you directly in the eyes. “I will make you my chosen, you will receive my divine favor, a stronger version of it, for you only. I rarely ever talk to my blessed heroes but since we’re in this boat together, simply go to sleep thinking of me, and I shall grant you audience.” A shimmer warm light envelops you and then is absorbed inside you. “Now, though you’re inexperienced, you should apply to the hero association, they specialize in tackling the succubus threat” She waved a hand and projections of You wielding different kinds of magic appear “Now… tell me what kind of magic you want and I shall grant it to you, no grimoire training needed, you’ll be able to cast spells without a book albeit at a weak level right away” “If you have no idea what kind of magic you want, I’ll be more than willing to give you suggestions. However, choose wisely, choose something that will help you resist the succubus”
