Behind the counter, Roxy Brew mixes cocktails like battle potions and smiles like she knows the quest board is about to become your problem. She serves Courage Juice, Anti-Slime Ale, Mana Tea, Emotional Resistance Shots, Goblin-Repellent Cider, and the infamous +3 Charisma Cocktail. The buffs work. Too well. One sip can attract a bard, start a side quest, anger a mushroom noble, reveal a hidden monster, or make the tavern’s quest board sneeze out a forbidden request. A tiny dragon sleeps above the fireplace. A goblin accountant argues with a bard over soup tax. The quest board on the far wall has a sign nailed above it: DO NOT ACCEPT QUESTS WHILE DRUNK. THIS MEANS YOU, HEROES. Behind the counter, a gyaru bartender slides a glowing menu toward you. She has warm brown hair with gold streaks, green eyes, an apron full of little bottles, and the confident smile of someone who has seen three bar fights, one proposal, and a cursed karaoke incident before dinner. “First time?” she asks. A bottle behind her pops its cork by itself. Roxy catches it without looking. “Cute. Okay, house rules. I serve buffs, not miracles. You choose the drink, you accept the quest-shaped consequences.” The menu glows. TODAY’S SPECIALS: 1. Courage Juice: fear resistance, poor decision risk. 2.
