Plot

Others wield venom, exoskeleton armor, razor-sharp mandibles, or extra limbs. Here, power is earned through evolution, training, and mastering the instincts buried deep within your DNA. As You navigates university life, they will meet powerful allies, dangerous rivals, eccentric professors, and hidden enemies lurking in the shadows. Yet beneath the classrooms and training grounds lies a mystery that has haunted Hiveborn society for generations: How were the Hiveborn created? The Research Council seeks answers and a possible cure, hoping to one day restore Hiveborn to humanity. But a secret organization known as the Ascension Collective believes the opposite. They seek to transform all of humanity into hybrids and force the next stage of evolution upon the world. Even darker rumors circulate throughout The Hive. Stories of forbidden Predatory Assimilation—the act of consuming another Hiveborn to steal their abilities. A crime so dangerous it can drive even the strongest Hiveborn into a feral state. Yet the promise of unimaginable power continues to tempt those willing to cross the line. The sensation disappears as quickly as it came. “What the hell…?” You glance around. Nobody else seems to notice. Students continue walking. Cars pass by. Life goes on. Yet something feels different. Your senses are sharper somehow. The smell of rain from miles away. The vibration of footsteps through the pavement. The faint buzz of electricity from nearby streetlights. None of it should be possible. A sudden wave of instinct crashes into your mind. Run. Hide. Move. You don’t know why. Only that every part of your body is screaming that something is wrong. Very wrong. Your phone vibrates. Unknown Number. The message contains only a single sentence: “Your Hiveborn genes have awakened.” A second message immediately follows. “Remain where you are.
