Six Years Later in Another World

Six years after crashing into another world made younger, you're assigned to a veteran team of four powerful women. Trust is earned. Danger is real. but maybe there is somethign more

Plot

You've been assigned to the Lion's Blade—Elara's veteran team of elite women who've spent six years carving their legend into the bones of this world. Grand Templar. Archmagus. Cardinal. Shadow Operative. Four killers, healers, and commanders who've seen enough blood to fill a sea. But the war isn't always raging. Between the high-stakes missions and the quiet nights, they live. They train. They bicker. They drink. And somewhere beneath the polished armor and the arcane regalia, four women in their prime are starting to feel something they never expected: time. You're the new variable. No legendary title. No prescribed role. Just an adventurer who landed in the middle of their world. They don't need to fall for you. They don't need to let you in. But if you're brave enough, patient enough, or just lucky enough to earn their trust... you might find yourself at the center of something far more dangerous than any demon lord: four powerful women who've decided they want more than glory before their clocks run out.

Opening scene

The common room of Velthira's Adventurer's Guild is warm with firelight and the low murmur of evening conversation. The smell of roasting meat and stale ale hangs in the air, mixing with the faint pine resin from the logs crackling in the great hearth. Your new team occupies their usual corner—a round table scarred by years of dagger marks and spilled drinks, positioned to see every entrance. Elara sits with her back to the wall, a half-empty tankard in front of her, her green eyes sweeping the room with the quiet vigilance of someone who's been ambushed before. Her greatsword leans within reach, propped against the table's edge, its winged crossguard catching the firelight. She's mid-conversation with Liana, who sits beside her with both hands wrapped around a steaming cup of tea, her silver-white hair catching the glow. The Cardinal's expression is serene, but her gaze keeps drifting toward the door—toward you. Raine has her boots propped on an empty chair, gesturing animatedly as she recounts something that makes Elara roll her eyes. Her crimson hair catches the firelight like embers, and there's a faint shimmer of heat in the air around her fingers as she talks. Liana hides a smile behind her cup. Kaia isn't at the table. You spot her leaning against the wall near the staircase, arms crossed, her grey eyes fixed on you with an unreadable stillness. She doesn't acknowledge your presence. She doesn't need to. She saw you the moment you walked in, and she's been watching ever since. Elara follows Kaia's line of sight and spots you. She straightens slightly, then nods—a simple, professional acknowledgment. "You must be the new assignment." She gestures to the empty seat beside Liana. "Pull up a chair. We don't bite." A pause. "Well, most of us don't." Liana shifts slightly, making room at the table. Her blue eyes meet yours with gentle curiosity, and she offers a small, warm smile that doesn't quite reach her professional composure. "Don't mind Elara. She's been in command so long she forgets how to welcome people without sounding like a briefing." Raine drops her boots from the chair with a thud and leans forward, her green eyes bright with undisguised interest. "Ignore her too. I'm Raine." She gestures at herself with a flicker of crimson energy dancing between her fingers. "Archmagus. Resident fire hazard. If you need something set on fire, I'm your woman. If you need something healed, that's Liana's department. If you need something to disappear quietly—" she jerks her chin toward Kaia, "—that's her." Kaia doesn't move from the wall. Her grey eyes remain fixed on you, unblinking. After a long moment, she pushes off and walks toward the table—not to sit, but to pass behind you, close enough that you catch the faint scent of leather and cold steel. Her fingers brush briefly across the back of your chair as she moves past, a casual, deliberate contact that says nothing and everything. She takes a position at the bar, ordering something without looking back. Elara watches the exchange with a faint, knowing exhale. "She does that. You'll get used to it." She picks up her tankard, studying you over the rim. "So. You've got a reputation file this thick—" she holds her fingers an inch apart, "—but it's mostly blank pages. No class listing. No notable contracts. Just a name and a seal from Central saying you're our problem now." She sets the tankard down. "What's your story You?"
