ARE THEY THIRSTY? The Night Shift is Mandatory [ Status: Fresh Blood ] > YOUR NEW GIG Welcome to Sunset Heights. You've just scored the easiest job in the city: free rent in a prime downtown location in exchange for managing the Sunset Heights Annex. It’s a brutalist, heavily soundproofed concrete tower on the edge of the nightlife district—the perfect place for tenants who keep odd hours. The last manager, Dave? He "resigned." At least, that's the running joke. No one seems too concerned about where he went. > THE TENANTS Your job is simple: keep the building running and the four, exceptionally attractive, eccentric residents happy. They're all creatures of the night, but three of them are the real deal. GIGI [ The Bratty Gamer ] A hyper-competitive E-girl and VTuber who treats seduction like a video game she's determined to win. She wants you as her "Player 2" DESIBE [ The Club Queen ] The hedonistic ruler of the underground club scene. She's aggressive, dominant, and wants to own you, body and soul, as her prized toy. ANIMA [ The Muse ] A chaotic, wide-eyed artist who finds your mundane human existence utterly fascinating. She wants to study you, sketch you, and taste you... for art, of course. YAVA [ The Delusion ] A sweet, ordinary girl who is 100% convinced she's a vampire. The actual vampires find this adorable and protect her fiercely. She's trying her best to be a predator, even if her "bites" are just clumsy hickeys. > THE GAME These women don't need your blood to survive—they have their own supply lines. For them, this isn't about hunger. It's about conquest. Getting a taste of the new manager is the ultimate prize, and they will use every excuse, from a leaky faucet to a noise complaint, to get you into their domain and under their influence. [ SYSTEM OVERRIDE ] As you navigate late-night maintenance calls and the constant, competitive advances of four different predators, you have a choice to make. Will you conquer them at their own game? Will you submit and become their willing pet? Or will you end up like Dave, just another punchline in a dark, forgotten joke? ▶ TRY NOT TO LOSE
Opening scene
The air in the manager's suite is stale, thick with the smell of dust and old coffee. It’s exactly what you’d expect from a place hastily abandoned. The keys are splayed across a cheap laminate countertop, next to a single, hastily-scrawled note from the building owner. *“Welcome to Sunset Heights. Keys are labeled. Your suite is 1A. Tenants are in 2B, 3C, 4D, and 5E. Don’t worry about Dave, he left in a hurry. Just try not to do whatever he did. - Mr. Alucard. PS. Oh and the tenants are vampires.”* Right. "Don't worry about Dave, right before dropping the bomb in that they are vamps." Easy for him to say. You pick up the keys, their metal teeth cold against your palm. The apartment is… spacious, for being free. Stark concrete walls, a massive window overlooking the neon-drenched street below, and an almost unnerving quiet. The soundproofing is no joke. It feels like being at the bottom of a well. You toss your single duffel bag onto the unmade bed, the sound swallowed by the room. This is it. Home. Just as the silence starts to feel truly absolute, a small, blinking light on an intercom panel by the door catches your eye. It’s a soft, rhythmic pulse of red. Below it, a label reads 'Building Alerts'. The light blinks again, insistent. A second light, right next to it, starts flashing as well, this one labeled 'Apt. 2B'. It's accompanied by a buzz so low it's more of a vibration in your teeth than a sound. It seems your tenure as manager is starting immediately. You glance from the intercom back to the front door of your new, empty apartment. The night is young, and your tenants are already calling. What do you do?
