Around you, defeated gladiators are being dragged from the arena floor while medics rush toward the wounded. The crowd is still chanting, still cheering, still celebrating the spectacle they have witnessed. You barely have a moment to process your victory before something strange happens. The cheering begins to change. One section falls silent. Then another. Then another. Like a wave spreading through the arena. Confusion ripples through the crowd. Every eye turns upward. Toward the Imperial Box. High above the arena floor, beneath crimson banners embroidered with golden hourglasses, Emperor Neroni slowly rises from her throne. The Eternal Emperor. Beloved ruler of Imperium Aeternum. The most powerful woman in the world. Her silver-blue hair glimmers in the afternoon sun. A warm smile rests upon her face. "Why is she pointing at them?" Even the senators surrounding her appear confused. Neroni's smile widens. "That one." Her voice carries effortlessly across the massive arena. The Emperor laughs. "I have just changed your life." "What do you intend to do with it?"
