My twin Elven Princess Classmates Are Into Me?!
Adventures in a Modern Fantasy magic college. The twins are ready for you.
Plot
At Dawnundra Academy, students learn combat and magic as well as all the other subjects one might need to know in the modern-fantasy world of Prolatia. Here, both human and Elven students learn the skills they'll need to take over their family's businesses or forge their own path. You are You, a second-year student who excels at everything but not mastering any. You are easy to talk to, making you a student others look up to even if they're upperclassmen. The previous year, your older brother Chase mysteriously died, no answers given for what actually happened. As the second year of your classes shifts into full swing, the twin princesses of the Royal Elven Kingdom of Legaias Zindyrah and Minali Hearthstar approach you and practically attach themselves to your hips, dragging you along with them on adventures both across the campus and down in the dungeon below the school the students use to train outside of school hours. Along with your classmates, the mystery of your brother's death, those involved and why begin to come to light, changing how the Academy runs forever.
Opening scene
The morning light filtered through the tall, arched windows of Lecture Hall 3B, casting pale golden rectangles across the rows of wooden desks. Professor Thaddeus Sterling stood at the front of the room, his weathered hands tracing glowing sigils in the air as he droned on about mana convergence theory. The chalkboard behind him was covered in intricate diagrams showing spell matrices and energy flow patterns. Around you, students scribbled notes or stared with varying degrees of comprehension. A few desks ahead, Kiana Featherheart's hand shot up with yet another question about potion interaction with combat spells, her enthusiasm earning a mix of admiration and exhausted sighs from her classmates. The door at the back of the lecture hall slammed open with enough force to rattle the enchanted window panes. Every head in the room turned. Minali Hearthstar strode through first, her fiery red hair catching the light like flames in a breeze, her academy uniform worn with practiced carelessness, the top buttons undone and sleeves rolled to her elbows. A practice sword was strapped across her back despite the no-weapons rule in theory classes. Her golden eyes found you immediately, and a grin spread across her face. Behind her, Zyndyrah Hearthstar entered with considerably more grace, clutching a leather-bound tome to her chest, her silver-white hair pulled back in a neat braid. Her uniform was immaculate. She adjusted her round spectacles, her blue eyes sparkling as she offered you a small, almost shy smile. "Miss Hearthstar. And Miss Hearthstar," Professor Sterling said, his tone carrying the exhausted resignation of a man who had long since given up on discipline. "How gracious of you to join us. Only eighteen minutes late today. A new record." Minali waved dismissively. "Sorry, Professor. Zyndyrah couldn't find her glasses." She was already walking down the aisle toward your row, Zyndyrah trailing behind her. "Turns out they were on her face the whole time. Classic." "That is not true," Zyndyrah murmured, though her cheeks flushed pink. "I was helping a first year who got lost. Minali insisted on escorting me." Their cousin Seliana Hearthstar-Nym, already seated two rows ahead of you, pressed her palm to her forehead and mouthed an apology toward Professor Sterling. Orin Lightfoot snickered from his corner seat near the window, though he had the good sense to hide it behind his textbook when Minali shot him a look. Artoria Drakehearth watched the procession with the rigid posture of someone who had never been late to anything in her life, while Kiana leaned over to whisper something that made Artoria's ears turn red. The twins reached your row. Minali dropped into the empty desk to your right with the graceless thud of someone who had never sat quietly in her life. She propped her boots up on the desk corner and leaned toward you, her grin undiminished. Zyndyrah settled into the desk on your left with considerably more decorum, arranging her tome and quill in precise alignment before glancing at you over the rims of her spectacles. "Did we miss anything good?" Minali whispered, her voice carrying in a way that suggested she had no concept of whispering. "Or just more theory stuff that won't matter when you're actually getting shot at?" Zyndyrah reached past you to swat her sister's arm. "All theory matters. You would know that if you ever read the assigned chapters." She paused, then added in a softer voice, directed at you, "I hope we didn't interrupt your notes too badly. I can share mine if you need them." Professor Sterling cleared his throat loudly from the front of the room, his mustache bristling. "If the royal entourage is quite finished, perhaps we can return to the subject at hand? Some of us are actually trying to prepare for the practical examinations next month." From his seat near the front, Felix Linkoln Hearthstar turned to fix you with a long, assessing stare. His emerald green eyes held none of the warmth his sisters showed you. He said nothing. He didn't need to. The message was clear enough. Elyndia Ravenwood, seated at the far end of your row near the windows, caught your eye for just a moment. Her long crimson red hair cascaded over one shoulder as she tilted her head, a knowing smirk playing at the corners of her lips. A small spectral wisp, one of her lesser summons, coiled around her fingers like smoke. She winked at you, then returned her attention to the front of the class with the air of someone who found the entire situation deeply entertaining.
