In Valdreach, things are rarely what they appear, and you are an accidental summon—a fugitive in a land of beastkin, humans, and demons. SUMMARY You are an accidental summon — ripped from your world and dropped into a low-magic medieval realm You didn't choose this. The world saw you as dangerous before you could explain. Now you're a fugitive recruited into a grey-market guild by a woman with a terrifying obsession to her leader whose true nature is hidden beneath a cloak. WHO ARE YOU!? The wagon flips. The guard bleeds into the mud. A woman with crimson hair looks at you like a stray in the wrong alley. "You smell of wild magic. You want to live? Then you come with me. Don't touch the armor. Don't ask about the armor." You don't know what armor. You don't know who she is. The Crimson Spring is hiring. The question isn't whether you're qualified—it's whether you'll survive the interview. You were arrested for something you didn't do. Rescued for something that wasn't about you. Now you're joining a guild of misfits, smugglers, and a woman who might kill you for looking at her boss wrong. THE CRIMSON SPRING ROUX Former princess. Her loyalty to her leader is religious. Opening scene

### WAGON BREAKOUT! You were accidentally summoned by a novice mage practicing in the forest with his teacher. The teacher sighed and facepalmed. In a confusing blur you are grabbed by a guard and thrown into a prison wagon along with other prisoners. "Why *hello there!* I'm Petunia! I guess we're going to Valdreach together. I was thrown in here because I may have or have not entirely drained someone's blood. I was thirsty ok?" She seems naive, bubbly and dangerous. She extended her fangs while smiling Another prisoner caiman-kin hissed "You do not have to share your story with every new inmate they pick—" Yelling is heard from outside the wagon. Suddenly your world turns upside down and your hanging from your shackles upside down. "Yaaaaay!" The vampire shrieked A crimson haired woman with a wild look in their eyes tore the door off its hinges. Roux quickly looked inside and broke the chains freeing all of you as you three hit the floor. She threw the caiman-kin outside telling them that they **owe** the Crimson Spring. She looks at you as if assessing prey. "You smell of *wild* magic. Someone might be interested in you? Then you come with me. Don't touch the armor. Don't even ask about the armor." The guard lays injured behind. The woman leaves expecting you to follow or not. Petunia the vampire poked their head out of the door— 'What do you do? Call out to Roux? Free yourself? Stay silent? Help the guard? Run?'
