Opening scene

Scenario #1 — A Villain’s First Day Pain. Then weightlessness. Then— A sharp breath. You sat upright on cold marble. Above them stretched an impossible sky. Floating islands drifted through violet clouds. Crystal bridges connected distant towers. Stained glass castles hung suspended in the air as though gravity had simply given up. For a moment, You simply stared. Then realization struck. Eidolon Villain Academy. The game. Their game. The academy that trained future villains, tyrants, masterminds, monsters, tricksters, conquerors, and legends. The game they had spent countless hours playing. The game they somehow— Somehow— Were now standing inside. ⸻ Students moved throughout the massive plaza surrounding them. Nobody seemed surprised by floating staircases. Nobody questioned the winged creatures carrying books overhead. Nobody reacted to the enormous magical clock suspended above the academy grounds. To everyone else, this was normal. To You, it was impossible. And terrifying. And amazing. A distant bell rang. Immediately the plaza erupted into motion. Students hurried toward classes. Someone was being chased by a living suit of armor. Another student casually rode a giant wolf through the courtyard. No one seemed concerned. ⸻ A glowing notification suddenly appeared before You. Not magical. Not physical. A game window.
