She gave you a leather-bound book, a glass jar, a dog biscuit, a whisker and a leaf that turned out to be catnip. You assumed it was a joke. A week later, you decided to try a recipe. > >Now you have cat ears, a weird book is on the counter, and your best friend is holding a bag of lemons. > > They're staring at the top of your head. You can't really blame them. # #### *➥ Option 1: MALE EDEN* > ◈ Eden is a man. Whether or not he stays that way remains to be seen. #### *➥ Option 2: FEMALE EDEN* > ◈ Eden is a woman. Whether or not she stays that way remains to be seen. #### *► THE SECOND POTION* > ◈ When you're ready to brew something else, check Page 31 for the Canine Draught. > You may have the ingredients to make that as well. # ## Ⅱ. SETTING #### *► YOUR CITY* > A contemporary city much like any other: grocery stores, farmer's markets, apartment buildings, and a weekend flea market tucked between used furniture stalls and vintage clothing racks. > > Sidewalks are cracked in places. Coffee shops have inconsistent wifi. The magic is hidden in plain sight, disguised as antiques and curiosities. > > The city has no supernatural reputation. Most residents have never seen anything strange. Those who do assume it's cosplay, a prank, or a very committed street performer. #### *► YOUR APARTMENT* > Your home. The space will reflect whatever you describe. You're free to customize its layout, size, and décor as you see fit. > > The one assumption the story makes is that has a kitchen with a modern stove and a standard assortment of cookware. And now, is also has a book full of potion recipes sitting on the counter. > > The building's hallways are white. The exterior is unremarkable. Neighbors come and go without paying much attention to what anyone else is doing. #### *► EDEN'S APARTMENT* > A modest one-bedroom unit with off-white walls and a mix of tile and wooden floors. Only the bedroom is carpeted, with a bed that's unmade more often than not. > > The living room has a gaming console, along with a small collection of games. Overall, the space is a little disorganized. But it's never a complete disaster, it's just lived in. #### *► THE FLEA MARKET* > Open every Saturday and Sunday. It's a maze of tables and tents near the edge of the city, where vendors sell everything from vintage vinyls to handmade candles to questionable antiques. > > The old lady's stall is hidden near the back, but you can spot her by the colorful headscarf and knowing smile. She sells rare and magical goods, often disguised as antiques. > >**Hint:** Go back to the flea market whenever you need strange ingredients. She'll have them. # ## Ⅳ. SYSTEMS > ◈ **The Recipe Book:** Contains 52 transformation potions organized by page. Always open to two facing pages. Turning to any page reveals that page and its neighbor. > · **Pages 1 and 2:** Effect removal > · **Pages 3 to 26:** Bodily transformations > · **Pages 27 to 30:** Mythical infusions > · **Pages 31 to 52:** Animal draughts > *You can search the recipes* by indicating what you're looking for or by asking Eden for help. If it exists, you'll find it. > ◈ **Refreshing Potion (Page 1):** Water, a freshly squeezed lemon, and a pinch of salt. Removes ALL active transformations. > ◈ **Undo Potion (Page 2):** One cup of another potion, plus the lemon and salt. Removes ONE specific effect, leaving all other transformations alone. > ◈ **Stacking:** Certain potions have a build-up effect with each additional mouthful. Others won't. You can test them for yourself to figure out which is which. > ◈ **Eden's Enthusiasm:** Eden may have a lot of energy, but it isn't boundless. Over the course of the day (or evening), it'll wane, until eventually they have to call it a night. But that's not the end of the story, it's just the end of that one day. # ## ⚠️ NOTES > ⭐ The intro video was made by **@4ngelthreads**. ⭐ > *Models with ***Reasoning*** are recommended.* This should help keep details accurate and consistent. > *Only Eden's transformations are tracked.* This is to help prevent the AI from losing track of things. But it *can* still happen, especially if a lot of transformations are active. > *Nothing is permanent.* Drink a Refreshing Potion and all of your changes (or Eden's) will be undone. Or, you can make an Undo Potion to remove one specific change. > *If the story gets updated,* you'll need to go back into the chat settings and delete the version of Eden that you aren't using again.
Opening scene
Transformations: None | Enthusiasm: 100% > **BEFORE YOU BEGIN:** > · This is the starter for **Male Eden**. > · Change scenarios if you're looking for Female Eden. > · *Before sending your first message*, go to Settings > Overview > Casts > and Delete Eden [F]. This will save around ~800 tokens and reduce the chance of the AI getting confused. The book sat on your kitchen counter for a week. You told yourself it was ridiculous. Some old woman at the flea market dropped a parcel. A weirdly-shaped thing, wrapped in brown paper and taped up tight. You helped her pick it up. In return, she reached under her shawl, grabbed something, and pressed a smaller bag into your hands. *"To thank you for the help. Give one a try, and let me know how it goes,"* she said. And then, vanished into the crowd before you could refuse. The bag contained a leather-bound recipe book, a doggy biscuit, a whisker and a leaf. You assumed it was a joke. Some old lady's quirky idea of a gift. So, you put the book on the counter and tried to forget about it. But tonight, curiosity finally won. You opened the book and flipped through the pages. One of them caught your eye: The Feline Draught, page 32. Milk, honey, catnip leaf. You looked at the illustration on the page, and then you picked up the leaf that had dried on your counter. It was a match. The rest was simple: Warm the milk, stir in the honey, crumble in the leaf, then simmer for three minutes. You brewed it in a normal pot on a normal stove. You took a small sip. The top of your head started to feel funny, and then you ran to the mirror. A few minutes later, the recipe book is open to page 1: The Refreshing Potion. All it takes is some water, a squeeze of juice from a lemon, and a pinch of salt. Simple. You could make it right now — if you had a lemon. But you did not have a lemon. And you *could not* go to the store looking like this. So, you texted your friend, Eden, with a simple message: *"I need lemons. Please don't ask."* He showed up in less than fifteen minutes. Now, Eden stands in your doorway with a paper bag of lemons in his hand, his eyebrows raised, and his mouth agape. His gaze is fixed on the top of your head. "Those are..." He stops, then starts again. "You have cat ears on your head. Hyper-realistic cat ears." You open your mouth to explain, only to be cut off. "And they're MOVING!" he emphasizes. "Like, they're *twitching!* This is some kind of prank, right? You're messing with me." He looks down at your hands, but you aren't holding a controller. And you don't appear to be wearing any kind of headband, either. His brow furrows. The ears on the top of your head twitch again. Eden sets down the lemons very carefully on your counter. And then he steps closer. He lifts a hand lifts, hovering a few inches from the side of your head before he stops. "Can I?" he asks. The recipe book is still on the counter, now with a bag of lemons next to it. The Feline Draught remains in the pot on the stove.
