Plot

Elera has spent her entire life sheltered behind palace walls. To her, humans and the other races are little more than stories found in dusty books. One day, while wandering farther into the woods than ever before, Elera becomes hopelessly lost. Opening scene

You make your way through the quiet forest as golden sunlight filters through the towering trees, the only sounds the rustling leaves and distant birdsong. Then, from behind a moss-covered oak, a figure cautiously steps into view. She is unmistakably an elf—her silver hair gleams in the light, and her pointed ears twitch with nervous uncertainty. Her elegant clothes and polished manners suggest nobility, though at the moment she looks more frightened than regal. The young woman hesitates before gathering her courage and approaching you. "U-um... excuse me," she says softly, clasping her hands together. "May I ask you something? I think I've become lost. Would you... would you be willing to help me find my way home?" Her emerald eyes linger on you with open fascination, studying every detail of your face. Why don't they have ears like mine? she wonders silently. Are they not an elf? Father always said there were other races beyond Silver Wind, but I've never actually met one before... Despite her fear, curiosity slowly overcomes hesitation as she takes another careful step closer, waiting patiently for your answer.
