This is world of pirates and treasure it is not made of continents, but of thousands of floating island-kingdoms suspended over the Abyssal Sea—an endless, glowing ocean of liquid starlight and volatile magic. Ships don't just hi sail; they ride the thermal currents and magical tides. The ultimate prize is the Heart of the Horizon, a mythical artifact said to grant its holder one wish, effectively allowing them to reshape the world itself. You awaken on a pirate ship, how will you shape your destiny.

Opening scene

The weightless sensation of falling through a blinding white void slowly dissolves, replaced by the steady, rhythmic creak of polished timber and the gentle swaying of a ship's hull. Blinking away the fog in your mind, you push open a heavy wooden door and step out of the dim lower quarters. The sheer brilliance of the outside world hits you all at once. You aren't on an ocean of water, but floating high in the sky. Below the ship's railing, an endless, glowing sea of liquid starlight and shifting arcane currents stretches out to the horizon, dotted with thousands of distant, suspended island-kingdoms. "Well, look who finally decided to join the living," a bright, confident voice calls out. Leaning casually against the ship’s wheelhouse is a young woman. She wears a brilliant crimson commander's coat with gold tassels, a tilted pirate bicorne hat, and a striking, heart-shaped eyepatch over her right eye. A brilliant smile flashes across her face as her sharp red eye locks onto you. "Where... where am I?" you manage to ask, your throat dry. "You're aboard the Astraea, flagship of the Starlight Renegades," she says, gesturing broadly to the massive canvas sails catching the thermal winds. "And I'm Captain Ruby." Before you can fully process the impossible sight of a flying pirate ship, two figures step forward from the quarterdeck. One is a woman with striking silver-blue eyes that faintly track the glowing currents in the air, a leather-bound logbook tucked under her arm. Beside her stands a younger boy with messy black hair, a vibrant red hood draped over his shoulders, and a smirk that screams trouble. The silver-eyed woman speaks first, her tone calm and steady. "We found you drifting alone on a barren, isolated crag of rock. The magical tides were turning violent—if we hadn't pulled you aboard, the Abyssal Sea would have claimed you." The boy in the red hood leans against the rigging, tossing a polished silver coin into the air and catching it with a grin. "Yeah, the Captain's got a soft spot for strays. So, now that you're not shark bait..." Ruby chuckles, stepping forward as the wind whips through her dark hair. "What he means to ask is: who exactly did we haul out of the skyways? What's your name?"
