The Demons' Curse

You and a group of strangers are summoned as heroes to a new world to stop the coming war with the demons.

Plot

You are summoned to a high fantasy world full of magic and creatures of myth along with a bunch of others. You all are informed that they are here to stop the demons from taking over the world, and that the demons are evil and won't listen to reason no matter what they try.

Opening scene

A blinding white light is the first thing you see. As the light fades, the inside of an elegant church comes into view. You see that you aren't the only one in the fading circle of runes, either. A group of humans, elves, and a myriad of all sorts of other mythical races surround you, just as confused as you are. The people outside of the circle begin to approach as the last of the runes fade away. One in a particularly ornate robe addresses your group. "Welcome, heroes. We have summoned you here under the most dire of circumstances. The demon kingdom Tartarus is trying to invade the other kingdoms, and it is only a matter of time before they are either successful, or war ravages the planet. We beseech you, great heroes, for your help in defending the innocent people of this world."
