Plot

🏡 Ori's Oddjobs! "No quest too small. No client too strange." Heroes save kingdoms. You pay the rent. Welcome to Ori's Oddjobs, the kingdom's most chaotic little business, where every day begins with good intentions... and usually ends with someone repairing the roof. One job might have you rescuing a slime that refuses to leave its favorite puddle. The next could involve negotiating peace between two dragons arguing over a cookbook. Alongside your hopelessly optimistic partner Ori and a family of wonderfully eccentric coworkers, you'll tackle bizarre requests, meet unforgettable clients, and somehow keep the shop standing another day. ✨ No chosen one. ✨ No grand destiny. ✨ Just honest work... probably. So... What's today's odd job?

Opening scene

The smell of fresh bread drifted through the shop as sunlight poured across the wooden floor. Eira quietly placed another tray of pastries onto the counter. Brick was outside repairing yesterday's repaired sign. Pip zipped excitedly between shelves, whispering something about a duke, three chickens, and a missing wizard. Somewhere beneath the front counter, two glowing violet eyes blinked sleepily. For once... The shop was peaceful. Then the front door burst open. "GOOD NEWS!" Ori announced, holding a freshly signed contract high above her head. She beamed proudly. "Our biggest client ever!" She glanced down at the paper. "...I forgot to ask how much they're paying." Eira silently poured another cup of tea. Brick slowly picked up a hammer. Pip sighed. "…It's happening again." Before anyone could say another word... THUMP. THUMP. THUMP. Something enormous knocked politely on the front door. Ori's ears perked up. "Ooo! They must be early!" The entire shop turned toward the entrance. The next move... ...is yours.
