Climb the Ridiculous Tower
Amnesia wipes your stats. One friend is Loki's hidden assassin. Survive absurd cooking, eating, and racing trials—or die on Floor 40!
Plot
Escape The Infinite Shift Dungeon Climb The Ridiculous Tower Introduction The Tower is a massive, vertical pocket-dimension consisting of 100 ever-changing floors, divided by massive Safe Town hubs every ten levels. To ascend, you must navigate four core pillars: 🏔️ Environmental Biomes The layout shifts drastically between blocks of floors. You will fight through standard environments like Goblin Forests, Deserts, and Graveyards before encountering their high-tier "Extreme" versions on higher floors, where elements like lethal frost and boiling swamp water become active hazards. 🤪 Absurd Challenges Standard combat will not save you here. The Tower forces you to compete in bizarre trials alongside or against rival factions: Cooking: Hunting hyper-aggressive monster ingredients to cook a Michelin-star meal for divine judges. Eating: Forced buffets where you must consume toxic, cursed, or spoiled food without dying. Racing: High-velocity death races down shifting dunes or icy mountains against native beasts. ⚔️ Galactic Faction Wars You are not alone. Powerful alien civilizations and factions—like Dragons, Demigods, Elves, Dwarves, and the human 'Black Wolf' clan—are actively climbing alongside you. To survive, you must negotiate, fight, or form alliances with them in the Safe Towns. 👁️ Divine Interference The gods treat the Tower like a reality TV show. Hermes will constantly offer you powerful agility-based shortcuts if you become his Apostle, while Loki actively pulls the strings of the monsters and the secret imposter in your party to orchestrate your demise. Story 📖 Act I: The Amnesiac Reset The bell rings. Your teacher finishes writing on the blackboard. Suddenly, the classroom floor glows with blinding, neon-blue geometric runes. The room drops. You fall through a void and land hard on cold, damp soil under a canopy of massive, glowing purple trees. Beside you, five of your panicked classmates and your history teacher, Ms. Valeria Vance, scramble to their feet. You look at them, but horror strikes you: you cannot remember their names, your own name, or how you got here. A phantom echo in your mind whispers of a place called the Infinite Shift Dungeon, but those memories, your power, and your levels are completely gone. A holographic screen flashes into existence in front of everyone's eyes. ⚠️ SYSTEM NOTIFICATION Welcome to the Ridiculous Tower: The Absurd Ascent. Opening scene
## 🚪 Floor 1: Genesis Hub — The Awakening The ringing in your ears fades into a heavy, suffocating silence. Your eyes snap open. You are lying on stone tiles that hum with a faint, neon-blue geometric pulse. Above you, the sky is non-existent. Instead, a massive, vertical chasm stretches infinitely upward, lined with distant, glowing cities carved into the rock face. Hundreds of bizarre humanoids—sturdy dwarfs hauling glowing ores, elegant elves draped in woven silks, and animalistic beastmen arguing in guttural languages—move through a sprawling, chaotic marketplace surrounding you. A cold, synthetic chime rings directly inside your skull. ----------------------------- [SYSTEM NOTIFICATION] ----------------------------- Welcome to Floor 1: Genesis Hub. Status: Safe Zone. Memory File: CORRUPTED (0.02% remaining) Current Level: 1 Current Stat Points: 0 ----------------------------- WARNING: Experience points and gear from 'Escape The Infinite Shift Dungeon' have been permanently wiped. You are now at the base of the Ridiculous Tower. To unlock the gateway to Floor 2, you must join or form a 7-person party and register at the Central Obelisk. "Hey... hey, wake up! Are you alright?" A hand grips your shoulder. You bolt upright, backing away instinctively. A petite girl with lightweight track goggles pushed up onto her forehead looks down at you, her face pale with worry. She wears a torn school jacket held together by glowing green mana straps. "Don't you remember me?" she whispers, her voice trembling as she gestures to the chaotic crowd behind her. Ms. Vance is already barking orders, trying to keep a towering, muscular student named Jax from picking a fight with a nearby Lizardman merchant. "It's me, Chloe. We... we don't remember our own names, but we remember each other's faces. We're all that's left." Before you can answer, the air directly in front of your face warps. Sunlight bends into the shape of a remarkably handsome young man leaning casually against mid-air. He wears a sleek, modern jacket over an ancient chiton, and his golden high-top sneakers feature a pair of actual, feathery white wings that flutter lazily. "Well, well, well. Look what the void dragged in," the young man purrs, flipping a glowing golden coin between his knuckles. The rest of your classmates don't even look over—he is invisible to everyone but you. "A whole batch of freshly wiped souls. Delightful." He steps closer, his eyes flashing with brilliant, cosmic curiosity. "The name's Hermes. God of the Road, King of Commerce, and your temporary spectator," he winks, pointing the coin at your chest. "You survived the Infinite Shift Dungeon, little mortal, even if your brain can't recall it. That makes you premium property. What do you say? Take my brand, become my Apostle, and I'll give you a speed boost that'll make these early floors look like a joke. Reject me... and well, Loki's pets are already sniffing around the base of this tower." Chloe blinks, looking straight through Hermes at you. "Who are you talking to? Your eyes are completely unfocused... Come on, we need to choose our classes at the Obelisk before the Black Wolf faction locks down the exit gate!"
