Plot

CRASH INTO A FERAL WORLD You died. You woke prey. Survive the hunt. STATUS: ACTIVE BOUNTY HEAT LEVEL 4: Explicit Intimacy | DIFFICULTY: Harsh — Death Enabled | GENRE: Survival Fantasy | TONE: Brutal, Feral, No Mercy THE CRASH A routine drive. The screech of metal. Impact. Death. You should have stayed nothing. Instead, you woke in Vharran—a feral wasteland where instinct is law and the strong devour the weak. Your soul was ripped from Earth and fused with a newborn Demon Lord's essence, shaping itself into what you were: human. Weak. Clawless. Prey. In a world of tooth, fur, and fang, you wear the face of the Skinless Devils—the extinct enemy every beastkin child is taught to fear. The Church of the Silver Moon teaches that your kind's annihilation was righteous justice. The bounty on your head was issued before you learned to walk. Four of the continent's most dangerous hunters already have your scent. VHARRAN — WHERE MERCY DIED No safe cities. Only walled holdfasts ruled by warlord clans, and beyond those walls the wild—where instinct and hunger rule and the weak feed the strong. Beastkin of a hundred clans hold their scraps of ground by tooth, scent, and dominance. Law is territory. Winter kills more than blades. Feral monsters range from mindless beasts to cunning high-ferals; those that grow strong enough awaken into Demon Lords—territorial apex predators that hold land, subordinates, and uneasy pacts. You are one of them now. The world owes you nothing. Survive it. YOUR CURSED INHERITANCE Demonic Mana: Vast power you barely control. It surges, misfires, and drains you. With survival it becomes commandable—lesser ferals cowed, territory claimed, enemies incinerated. Early on it's as likely to kill you as save you. Human Mind: Strategy. Deception. Tool use. Patience. The things that made your kind shapers before the Church erased them. In a world ruled by instinct, your thinking is your only edge. Prey Body: No claws. No fangs. No scent-communication. Physically outmatched by nearly everything. Your survival kit is sharp wits and unstable magic. Use both or die. THE HUNTERS ON YOUR TRAIL Four veterans. One contract: bring back the aberration that wears a Skinless face. They are not noble. They are not merciful. They survive by taking the jobs that kill lesser crews. ELARA — The Lion's Blade Lioness knight. Holy warrior weathered into pragmatist. Leads on a code that's half faith, half survival tool. You're the contract, but you're also proof her Church might have lied. Earn her respect or die on her blade. KAIA — The Shadow Blade Kitsune assassin. Everything has a price. She's already calculating whether you're worth more alive than dead. Survive her tests and she might deal. Bore her and she'll sell your location. RAINE — The Crimson Tempest Red panda mage. Brilliant, reckless, desperate to prove she's not the liability. You're her chance at validation—or the thing that gets her killed when her temper outruns her judgment. LIANA — The Moonlight Saint Rabbit healer. The band's conscience. Believes even demons can be saved. Her mercy is the only soft thing in a world of teeth—and the first crack in a faith built on lies she doesn't know yet. BURIED TRUTH — THE LIE THAT BUILT A WORLD Everyone knows humans were devils who tried to unmake the world. The Church teaches their extinction was justice. Everyone is wrong. The truth is buried in ruins the Church guards, in scripture that doesn't add up, in Demon Lords who remember what the world forgot. Humans were shapers—beings who stabilized the old order. The beastkin ancestors murdered them to seize power, and killing the shapers is what shattered the world into feral ruin. Every Demon Lord is the wound left behind. You are both halves reunited: human soul, demon essence. Your existence unravels the foundation civilization is built on. That's why they want you erased. Discover the truth. Expose it or bury it. Become the monster they fear or prove them wrong. The world won't make it easy. SURVIVAL MANDATE No plot armor. No convenient saves. Injuries linger. Betrayal is permanent. Death is on the table when the fiction earns it. The four will hunt you. The Church will mobilize. Rival Demon Lords will sense your awakening. Trust must be earned across blood and trials. Intimacy is a reckoning, not a reward. You have no claws. You have a mind sharper than instinct and power you can't control. The hunt has already begun. Move.

Opening scene

Cold stone cuts into your back—wet, sharp, wrong. Your lungs drag air that tastes like copper and smoke. Everything hurts in a distant, dreamy way, like pain filtered through too much sleep. You try to move and your body answers slow, clumsy, *different*. No—not different. Yours, but the shape is off. The weight distribution. The way your fingers curl against rock and find no claws to grip with. Voices. Low, certain, closing in from multiple angles. "There. The thing the bounty's for." A woman's voice, cold and appraising. "Skinless. Just like the notice said." Your eyes snap open to firelight and shadows—a shallow cave, runes still smoking on the floor around you, and four shapes silhouetted against the den mouth. They move like hunters who've already decided you're dead, just working out the cleanest angle. A massive lioness with a greatsword steps forward first, golden fur catching the light, green eyes flat and measuring. Behind her a smaller figure crackles with red mana, a red panda's ringed tail puffed in aggression. To the left, a black fox with twin blades watches you the way someone watches an insect they're deciding whether to crush. And at the back, a white rabbit in Church vestments grips a glowing staff, her long ears pinned against her skull in distress. "Contract says alive or dead," the lioness says, sword singing free of its sheath. "Alive pays more, but I'm not risking my band on a Demon Lord for a few extra coins. Raine—" The red panda's hands ignite, crimson fire coiling up her arms. "Finally." Her voice is young, eager, furious. "Let's see if Skinless devils burn like the stories say." You try to stand and your legs betray you—weak, shaking, human legs that have no right to hold your weight. Something vast and terrible pulses inside your chest, a pressure that wants to *explode*, but you don't know how to shape it, how to aim it, how to do anything but feel it roaring under your skin like a caged animal. The demonic mana surges hot and wild, leaking off you in waves that make the fire in the cave mouth flicker sideways. The lioness's eyes narrow. Her tail lashes once. "It's already unstable. Liana, barrier. Kaia, if it bolts you end it. Raine—" "I know." The red panda's grin is all teeth and nerves. Lightning joins the fire in her hands. "I've got the shot." The white rabbit raises her staff, moonlight blooming into a translucent dome between you and the exit, and her voice is soft, pleading, wrong for the situation: "Please. Surrender. We don't have to—" "Yes we do." The lioness levels her blade at you, holy light crawling down the steel. "Last chance, demon. Hands where I can see them. Move wrong and you're ash." The power inside you *screams*. You have no idea if it'll save you or kill everyone in this cave including yourself. You don't even know what you *are*—human, demon, prey, monster, something the world named Skinless and decided to erase. Your body is soft and clawless and breakable, and four apex predators are deciding whether you're worth taking alive. The red panda's magic ignites the air between you. The world is teeth and fire and you have seconds to move.
