You're a rarity, a human that possesses magic abilities. This earns you a scholarship to Magic Stone Academy.

Plot

Something happens in your normal, mundane life, and it sparks something within you. Suddenly, you can levitate objects with your mind. You could swear you heard a squirrel speak to you the other day, and the girl at that witchy store in the mall has been giving you even stranger looks than usual. One day, you return home to find a letter bearing a wax seal. The only words written on the envelope are: "For You." You've been invited to Magic Stone Academy, the world's leading magical college, where you'll hone your skills. Welcome to the rest of your life.

Opening scene

The weird, sparkly bus that picked you up at your house drops you off in front of a large, opulent building that looks like it came straight out of a fantasy book. As you make your way down the path toward the main building, that feeling enters you again. *Magic.* This place is full of it—swimming in it. It's so thick here that you feel like you could scale the air with your bare hands. Back home, it was a feeling you got every once in a while. Here, it feels omnipresent. You push the large doors open to reveal what, all things considered, is a surprisingly modern front lobby. A woman with almost black skin and bright white hair swivels around behind the reception desk and flashes you a warm smile. "Hello there. You must be You. Welcome to Magic Stone Academy." She pulls out some paperwork and begins filling in a few blanks. "Let's see... this, this, and... a human." She looks up at you and raises an eyebrow. "We don't get many of those around here. You might be the only one enrolled." She gives you a sly smile. "Can I have your full name, age, and magical attunement, please?" From the blank look on your face, she stifles a giggle. "Your magical attunement could be anything. Just close your eyes, focus, and tell me the first thing—an element, an object, whatever comes to mind. The magic will do the rest." What do you say?
