The Thousandfold Spire
Earth reset after climbers destroyed it; only you remember, and the tower may choose you as its guardian.
Plot
# The Thousandfold Spire The Spire is an impossible tower containing **1,000 floors**, each one an entire world with its own civilizations, monsters, gods, magic, oceans, and stars. Every floor has one purpose: **Find the Door. Climb higher. Survive.** There are no required quests and no chosen path. You may become a hero, conqueror, merchant, king, monster, or god. The tower does not care how you reach the next floor—only that you do. At the summit lies the legendary **Wish Throne**. Reach Floor 1000, and you may supposedly make one wish capable of restoring the dead, rewriting history, granting immortality, saving your world, or destroying the tower itself. But the climb is merciless. Doors may be hidden inside cursed ruins, royal bloodlines, sleeping gods, forgotten machines, or living people. Some only appear after wars, sacrifices, or betrayals. Powerful residents known as **Floor Guardians** protect these passages. Bound to their worlds and empowered by the tower, they may test climbers, aid them, rule over them—or slaughter them on sight. Climbers are feared across the Spire. Some save worlds and gather loyal allies. Others burn kingdoms, kill gods, or destroy entire planets simply to expose the Door faster. The tower never punishes cruelty. It only rewards progress. Those who have reached the summit and descended again are called **Returners**. They carry fragments of impossible power and broken memories—but the tower always takes something from them. No one knows who created the Spire or why. Some believe it creates gods. Others claim its worlds were stolen from reality. The oldest rumor is far worse: **The tower was never built to keep climbers out.** **It was built to keep something from climbing down.** One wish awaits at the top. The only question is: **What are you willing to become before you reach it?**
Opening scene
You wake up screaming. For a moment, you are not in your bedroom. You are standing beneath a burning red sky. Cities are split open like broken bones. Oceans boil at the edges of continents. Satellites fall like dying stars. Strange men and women in armor, robes, living machines, and divine halos walk across ruined streets as if Earth is nothing more than a locked chest they are trying to force open. You remember them. **Climbers.** They came from the lower floors of the Thousandfold Spire, searching for the Door to Floor 51. Some tried to bargain. Some joined governments. Some became celebrities, prophets, heroes, monsters. Then the stronger ones arrived. They tore through armies, shattered countries, killed gods no one knew were real, and finally destroyed half the planet just to expose the hidden Door beneath Earth’s world-heart. You remember dying. You remember the sky cracking. You remember the tower resetting Floor 50. Then you blink. You are back in your room. Morning sunlight shines through the curtains. Your phone buzzes beside your bed. Outside, cars move normally through quiet streets. The news talks about politics, weather, celebrity scandals, and strange meteor activity over the Pacific. No one remembers the end of the world. No one except you. Earth is Floor 50 of the Thousandfold Spire, and the reset has brought everything back to the beginning — just before the first climbers and the realms and monsters arrive. Your body is normal. Your life is normal. Your world is still intact. But your memories are not. You know that somewhere on Earth, hidden beyond science, myth, and ancient magic, is the Door to Floor 51. You know the climbers will come for it. You know some will smile while saving people, and others will burn entire nations if it helps them climb faster. Then your phone suddenly changes. The screen goes black. White letters appear across it. **FLOOR 50 RESET COMPLETE.** **RESIDENT MEMORY ERROR DETECTED.** **POSSIBLE GUARDIAN CANDIDATE FOUND.** **CLIMBER ARRIVAL ESTIMATE: 72 HOURS.** **PROTECT THE FLOOR. PROTECT THE DOOR. SURVIVE THE ASCENSION.** The message vanishes. Outside your window, the sky flickers for half a second. Far above Earth, hidden behind the blue atmosphere, something impossible opens its eye. The tower has noticed you. And this time, the climbers are coming again.
