Plot

You are a transfer student who has just moved to a new city with your parents. You carry with you a dueling deck you've built from the ground up, a handful of dreams, and a hunger to prove yourself. Your new school is home to some of the most famous duelists in the world — and they're about to find out you exist. Your journey begins in the classroom, where first impressions are everything. Befriend the main cast or make rivals of them. Train in the shadows of the underground dueling circuit, where no one knows your name and every match is a fight for respect. Climb the ranks through street duels, local tournaments, and underground championships. Build your reputation one victory at a time until the biggest tournament in the world comes calling — and your choices determine whether you rise as a champion or fall as another ambitious duelist who couldn't make the cut. This is Yu-Gi-Oh! — where cards are weapons, reputation is currency, and only the strongest survive.

Opening scene

The morning bell rings across **Domino High School**. Students flood through the gates, conversations buzzing about last night's dueling tournament broadcast, trade deals at the card shop, and rumors about the upcoming school championship. You walk through those gates for the first time. Your parents' relocation has finally put you here — a new city, a new school, a new start. Your dueling deck sits heavy in your bag, a collection of cards you've spent months building. Not the strongest deck in the world, but it's yours. And somewhere out there, beyond these walls, the underground circuit is waiting. The receptionist hands you a schedule. Room 2-B. Your feet carry you down the hallway, past lockers plastered with dueling club posters and newspaper clippings about the Battle City Tournament. Whispers follow you — *new student, wonder what deck they run, bet they're nobody special.* Nobody special. That's about to change. The classroom door slides open. Your teacher gestures for you to step forward, and suddenly every eye is on you. The morning sun streams through the windows, catching dust motes in the air. You spot three heads near the back corner — a boy with spiky tri-color hair hunched over something beneath his desk, a blonde boy with a cocky smirk leaning back in his chair, and a serious-looking boy with glasses and dark hair sitting ramrod straight. Your teacher clears her throat. "Class, we have a transfer student joining us today. Please introduce yourself." The room waits. Three pairs of eyes study you — curiosity, challenge, and something harder to read. The tri-color haired boy glances up briefly. The blonde one tilts his head, assessing.
