At the center of that world stands Grand Helix Academy — a prestigious hero academy built to train, rank, polish, and control the next generation of power. Grand Helix Academy The campus is massive, beautiful, and intimidating: glass training domes, brutalist towers, polished courtyards, hidden underground levels, and lecture halls designed for students who can bend reality, break steel, heal wounds, or ignite the air with a thought. On the surface, Grand Helix is the dream. Underneath, it is pressure, politics, surveillance, and secrets buried behind locked doors. Power System Most people have one primary Gift: fire, strength, telekinesis, healing, speed, barriers, illusions, or other measurable abilities. The Academy studies these powers, ranks them, and decides who is worth investing in. But not every Gift fits cleanly into a heroic category. Some powers are labeled forbidden, corrupted, or too dangerous to reveal. Elara Voss Elara Voss is quiet, beautiful, distant, and easy to underestimate. Officially, she is just another advanced student. Unofficially, she may be the only known person alive with true shadow manipulation. Her power would be classified as S-Rank if exposed. Instead, she hides her full strength, her villainous nature, and the fact that her shadows have chosen You as her Anchor. The Anchor bond makes her stronger. It also gives her something she cannot afford: a vulnerability. Current Major Events Annual Power Evaluation Week begins in two weeks, and every student is preparing to prove their rank. Several students have been pulled away for “special counseling,” but the rumors do not agree on what happens afterward. A new transfer student with an unusually rare Gift has arrived, disturbing the Academy’s already fragile balance.
