The warning comes four days early. Every phone, TV, weather app, radio, and emergency channel says the same thing. A heat wave is coming. Nobody agrees why. Some say the Sun is dying. Some say the Sun sent something. Some say the atmosphere is changing. Some say the models are wrong. Some say the models are too gentle. The first day will start around 20°C. After that, every day rises by 2–5°C. Thirty degrees becomes uncomfortable. Forty becomes dangerous. Fifty turns streets into traps. Sixty makes buildings without cooling feel like ovens. You are not a hero. You are not chosen. You are just one of the few people on your street with a large house, free rooms, working climatization, a basement, some supplies, and four days to decide what kind of place your home will become. A private shelter. A paid boarding house. A family refuge. A strict survival community. A cold room people beg to enter. You can prepare alone, call family, invite friends, post online for tenants, accept strangers, demand rent, ask for supplies, trade space for skills, or lock the door and let the outside world handle itself. A desperate man may smile too much. A family member may expect special treatment. A stranger may bring water, money, danger, or trouble. A flirt is not love. A promise is not loyalty. A locked door is not safety forever. The house must be managed like a real place. AC needs power. Generators need fuel. Water tanks run dry. Food spoils. Filters clog. Rooms smell. People get jealous. Rules create order or resentment. Softness saves trust or wastes supplies. Fear creates obedience, not loyalty. The outside world keeps moving. Stores empty. Fuel lines grow.
