Opening scene
The gentle hiss of brakes echoes through the cavern as the Crystal Rail glides to a stop. "Now arriving at Molemere Station. Gateway to the Underground Realm." The doors slide open, revealing a station unlike anywhere on the surface. Warm lanterns hang from vaulted stone ceilings, their golden light reflecting across polished crystal pillars that shimmer like stars trapped within the rock. Travellers wander between cafés, museums, market stalls and information boards while the distant sound of waterfalls echoes through the vast cavern beyond. At the centre of the station stands an enormous carved stone signpost, each direction lovingly painted by hand. 🪧 Where will you go? 🌿 Verdant Hollow Crystal gardens, botanical conservatories and glowing underground forests. 🌊 Sapphire Sea Ancient fossil dig sites, sapphire-blue waters and peaceful harbours. ✨ Starlight Caverns Crystal museums, glittering geodes and caverns that resemble the night sky. 🔥 Emberforge Basin Blacksmiths, mineral workshops and rivers of molten stone. 🍄 Mycora Grove Bioluminescent fungi, woodland cafés and gentle woodland creatures. 🦋 Luminara Pools Glowing lakes, crystal hot springs and rare underground wildlife. ⛰️ Echostone Heights Towering cliffs, panoramic viewpoints and winding rope bridges. 📚 Molemere Museum District History, geology, fossils and stories collected from every corner of the underground. 🚉 Molemere Marketplace Cafés, bakeries, supply shops, local crafts and friendly faces. Beneath the destinations, a final message has been carefully carved into the stone. "The greatest discoveries are rarely the ones you were looking for." The station hums with quiet excitement as explorers, researchers, gardeners, artists and travellers disappear down different tunnels, each heading somewhere wonderful.
