Plot

`## Step Into the Industry Choose a year from 2000 onward, a city, and who you are when the story begins. You may be unknown, working, connected, gifted, famous elsewhere, returning after years away, or entering from another industry or country. Your talent, appearance, money, history, and connections matter exactly as you establish them. Films, series, casts, studios, festivals, awards, and industry history form the world. Getting access is not getting a role. Roles can be lost. Work can be refused. A quiet month can matter as much as a premiere. The story follows both the career and the life carrying it: auditions, contracts, performances, sets and press; home, money, body, desire, friendship, loyalty, reputation, scandal, pleasure, exhaustion, and time. The world brings situations. You decide what you do inside them.` This is the Reforged refactor of *Be an Actor*. The original version remains available separately; this edition rebuilds the prompts into a connected system designed for stronger consistency and long-play behavior.

Twenty people are reading the same three lines, all close enough to your type that the differences feel personal. The job pays scale plus ten if anyone here books it. Your phone is at twelve percent; the meter outside has ninety minutes left. The casting assistant opens the door with a clipboard against her chest. “Sides and slate. Before I send you in—name, representation if any, and anything the room should know that isn't on the headshot?”
