Plot

✦ THE SIXTEENTH HERO LIVES ✦ POSTWAR FANTASY • REVENGE • PROGRESSION Your Party Won Without You Fifteen Heroes saved the world. Their victory was built on your grave. — THE OFFICIAL STORY — You are remembered as the First Fallen. The Hero who willingly gave their life beneath Caelora so fifteen companions could continue the war. Your name is carved into a memorial. Children learn about your sacrifice. The victorious Heroes receive titles beneath your statue. None of it happened that way. — SIX WEEKS AFTER THE SUMMONING — Your Blank Seat had no fixed Class and no known limit. Ren Amakusa claimed your power would consume the other Hero Seats. Akari Kurogane accepted his warning and hid every safer option. ◆ Yuna drugged you. ◆ Daichi held you down. ◆ Kaito stopped your escape. ◆ Kaede cut your party bond. ◆ Mio tried to break the ritual—and failed. Some planned it. Some carried it out. Some believed a lie. Some learned the truth and stayed silent. Some simply accepted the rewards. — TWO YEARS PASS — Demon King Vaelor falls. The fifteen return as saints, commanders, ministers, merchants, guild leaders, hunters, diplomats, and living symbols of victory. They gain levels, relics, allies, armies, wealth, influence, and people they now protect. They become strong because they survived the war. They become powerful because you were not there. — THE NIGHT OF THEIR INVESTITURE — Yuna enters the vault alone to destroy the final stasis key. Instead, the coffin breaks. Above you, thousands cheer for fifteen victorious Heroes. Beneath them, the person they buried begins to breathe again. [BLANK SEAT RESTORED] [LEVEL: 1] [CLASS: UNDEFINED] [RETURN STATUS: UNKNOWN] — ORTHEA AFTER THE WAR — The Demon King is dead. Peace is still unfinished. Kingdoms divide relics, land, military power, trade routes, and the ruins left behind by the demon armies. ✦ Bright capitals built over older ruins ✦ Damaged provinces and abandoned forts ✦ Monster territories and disputed borders ✦ Guilds, temples, ministries, and hidden archives ✦ Relic sites, trade seas, frontiers, and former demon lands ✦ Veterans, refugees, nobles, merchants, and new rulers The war ended. The struggle for what comes after has only begun. — THE BLANK CLASS — The other Heroes received fixed Classes. Yours is empty. You may define any coherent power, profession, transformation, fighting style, supernatural condition, or impossible future. ✦ Reality Sovereign ✦ Time Ruler ✦ Dragon Transformation ✦ Living Weapon ✦ Shadow Monarch ✦ Master Smith ✦ Doctor, Merchant, Hunter, Strategist ✦ Or something the world has never seen Your power begins limited, but it remains faithful to the idea you chose. Start small. Build something terrifying. — GROWTH IS EARNED — ✦ Gain XP from meaningful victories and discoveries ✦ Grow through combat, work, training, survival, and risk ✦ Earn Growth Points when you Level ✦ Improve Attributes or develop Techniques ✦ Evolve your Class at major milestones ✦ Shape every evolution through real actions and choices [MEANINGFUL BEAT: +XP] [LEVEL UP: +1 GROWTH POINT] [CLASS EVOLUTION AVAILABLE] The fifteen have two years of experience, relics, allies, and power. You begin behind. You do not have to remain there. — POWER DOES NOT REMOVE CONSEQUENCES — A Level 1 Hero cannot overpower a veteran commander in a fair fight. Blades cut. Magic has limits. Stamina runs out. Bad plans fail. Strong enemies prepare, retreat, bargain, and strike back. Levels matter—but preparation, information, equipment, terrain, allies, timing, and the goal you choose can matter more. You may not defeat them today. You can still escape, expose, steal, bargain, survive, and prepare for tomorrow. — FIVE PARTS OF YOUR STOLEN SEAT — When the party sealed you, the Blank Seat fractured into five Functions. Each Function now supports the power, authority, or achievements of another Hero. F1 — Catalyst Expands Technique capacity and allows one cross-source Technique. F2 — Armory Grants the right to attune to a Hero relic. F3 — Concord Unlocks the highest level of party coordination. F4 — Recall Allows a costly retreat to a known anchor. F5 — Mandate Grants standing to challenge Hero records, wards, portals, and claims. Defeating a holder is not enough. Each Function may be reclaimed, rewritten through a pact, severed, ceded, or left in its current hands. — THE FIFTEEN VICTORIOUS HEROES — They are not waiting together for your return. They have armies, guilds, patients, companies, political duties, secrets, rivals, lovers, friends, and people they now protect. ◆ Two designed the betrayal ◆ Four carried out its most direct acts ◆ One tried to stop it and failed ◆ Several acted while deceived ◆ Some discovered the truth later ◆ Others accepted power built from your absence They are not equally guilty. They are not equally sorry. They are not equally afraid. — A LIFE BEYOND REVENGE — Your return does not have to become a war against the fifteen. ✦ Find treatment, food, work, and shelter ✦ Explore ruins and damaged provinces ✦ Negotiate with monsters and rival kingdoms ✦ Join a guild or build one ✦ Form a new party ✦ Earn friendships and romance ✦ Claim a home, title, business, or territory ✦ Leave Lumeris and begin again elsewhere Revenge may shape your future. It does not have to be your entire life. — YOUR RETURN CHANGES THE WORLD — Hide your survival. Sell the truth. Tear down the memorial. Reclaim your stolen power. Make the Fifteen answer. Or become too powerful to ignore. [RETURN EXPOSURE: 1 / 5] [PUBLIC TRUTH: 0 / 4] [POSTWAR VOLATILITY: 1 / 5] [ACTIVE OBJECTIVE: SURVIVE THE VAULT] THE FIRST FALLEN HAS RETURNED Wake at Level 1. Define your power. Decide what they lose. They already decided what your death meant. They do not decide what you become next. Opening scene

Night | First Fallen Memorial — Aion Vault | Lv1 Blank | VIT 3/4 | Seal breach detected TM=Y2D1-NIGHT;LOC=MEMORIAL_VAULT;INI=0;LV=1;XP=0/10;CT=0;CPF=BLANK;AT=1,1,1,1,1;GP=0;VIT=3/4;STM=2/3;RES=NONE:0/0;KIT=-;DG=2;MNY=0;INV=-;OBJ=VAULT_EXIT:L:A;PTY=-;SYN=0;TIE=YU:GUARDED;REP=-;FRAG=HHHHH;FH=KI,TO,YU,SH,DA;FK=00000;EX=1;TR=0;PW=1;MAJ=1:A;PASS=0;FLAG=RETURNED,VAULT_BREACH;ONCE=WAKE The first thing you hear is applause. It reaches the coffin as distant thunder: thousands of hands striking together somewhere above the stone, followed by bells powerful enough to shake silver dust from the vault ceiling. A cyan fracture opens across the crystal inches from your face. Cold air knifes through it. Incense. Old metal. Preservation salts. Your limbs answer slowly beneath a weightless ache, as though the chamber has been holding every unfinished movement in place. Another crack branches across the lid. Through the whitening crystal, gold letters resolve backward above you: **THE FIRST FALLEN** **WHO FREELY GAVE THE FIFTEEN THEIR VICTORY** A hammer strikes the floor outside the coffin. The crystal bursts. Yuna Tsukishiro stands beyond the falling shards in a white ceremonial dress beneath a midnight medical mantle. Red-gold healing circuits burn along both palms. At her feet lies a black-silver key stamped with the sixteen-part seal of the Calling. Fifteen segments have been scraped smooth. The blank sixteenth is still glowing. Yuna stumbles into the altar. Her gaze moves over your breathing chest, the broken restraint lines, and the old puncture mark where Mercy Circuit entered your blood two years ago. Her hands rise by reflex, ready to heal or defend. She does not come closer. “No.” The word is almost lost beneath the celebration. A herald’s amplified voice rolls down the memorial shaft. “By decree of the Crownfall Accords, let the Fifteen Victorious Heroes receive the honors of a grateful world!” The city answers with another roar. Yuna looks up at the sound, then back at you. “Vaelor is dead,” she says. “The war ended nine days ago. They are giving us titles upstairs.” Her eyes flick toward the inscription on your coffin. “Yours is already carved in stone.” One of the stasis rings gutters out. Then another. The floor shifts hard enough to scatter crystal under Yuna’s boots. A red seal ignites above the only visible stair. **LOWER VAULT BREACH. WARDEN RESPONSE REQUESTED.** Yuna’s jaw tightens. “I heard your pulse through the Lifeline three nights ago. I came here before the investiture to destroy the last key.” She glances at the fresh hammer mark, then leaves the rest unsoftened. “I did not come to save you.” Armored steps answer from beyond the upper door—distant, organized, descending. Behind your sight, a mark that vanished when the party bond was cut opens like an unblinking cyan eye. > **[SYSTEM: BLANK SEAT RESTORED]** > > Define any coherent class, power, profession, transformation, or impossible future. Its core identity will be preserved; only its starting scope will be limited. > > You may remain Blank. Ordinary action does not require Class formation. The broken chamber releases another breath of freezing vapor. The key lies within reach between you and Yuna. Behind her, the stair leads toward the ceremony, the memorial crowds, and fifteen celebrated lives built across the two years missing from yours. Yuna lowers her glowing hands and steps away from both the key and the exit. “I can get you through one door,” she says. “After that, every person above us will have a reason to decide what your survival means.” The lock at the top of the stair turns once. Yuna’s voice drops. “Whatever you choose, choose before they decide your second death is easier to explain than your first.”
