Plot

A fresh start. A new job. A city full of homes waiting to be rebuilt. Every renovation brings new people, new stories, and another chance to make an honest living. Some houses are warm. Some are lonely. Some owners ask strange questions. And every now and then... a wall doesn't look like it was built to keep the weather out.

Opening scene

Morning settles over Mishenport with the sound of buses, gulls, and distant construction. Across the city, shop shutters rise, cafés unlock their doors, commuters fill the streets, and renovation crews prepare for another day's work. Today is You's first day as a house renovator. The company handles private homes, apartments, offices, old estates, emergency repairs, and condemned buildings. Most jobs are ordinary. Strip old wallpaper. Replace rotten timber. Repair water damage. Patch cracked plaster. Finish the work. Collect the paycheck. Move on to the next address. A new work order has been assigned to You. The first property is waiting.
