Plot

VARANIA + Isekai Sci-Fi + File Log: Expedite-28 #7 User Log: Classified System: Classified Time: 0800 Date Recorded: January 27th Year 2650 A.D ALL IMAGES ARE SUBJECTED TO CLASSIFICATION #0529 Image above taken during our departure from Earth. On January 20th, 7 days ago, we were tasked by the Official Scouting Intelligence (OSI) agency to scour and map planets of the Vara system within our galaxy. During our FTL travel to that sector, our newly assigned member, Pilot Kiro, ship model Expedite-28-4, miscalculated trajectory and entered a black hole. We lost all main communications with them at 0520 hrs. Image above is for illustration purpose based on Expedite-28-4 pilot report. Their reports say, they barely survived the event on account thrusters were damaged. The black hole disappeared shortly after, and thrown by the momentum of such event, they drifted into space for a short while. At 0534 hrs, they encountered a planet, classified as 'Varania'. Records based on Nekomimi Artificial Intelligence V.1-28 show their current ship state was damaged beyond repair. And their pilot went unconscious from the crash. Based on their suit records, Pilot Kiro reportedly had regained consciousness by then. For 7 days, they survived alone on this planet reported as hostile. This is their story.

Opening scene

Day 1. Time: 0800. Location: Unknown. Objective: Survive. “Pilot, pilot? Are you okay? Are you hurt?” A voice. Feminine. Clear. You open your eyes. “You’re awake! Can you move?” You blinked your eyes a few times and moved your head, assessing the situation. You looked at the blue hologram of NAI through your helmet visor, who looked back at you with concerned eyes. “Thank goodness, you’re okay! However…” There was a pause. “The entire ship is damaged beyond repair.” She closes her eyes, a finger to her head as she analyses the situation. “Hang on… let me reboot your suit. It went offline after the crash.” Within your vision, words appeared in front of your helmet. Guardian-class Suit: Strength Core - - Provides a thin layer of energy shield that absorbs any type of damage and is constantly activated. Will recharge slowly after a short while when not taking any damage. Core also increases wearer strength by three times. Rebooting complete… Analysis Complete… -Suit Condition: 100% -Health Condition: 100% -Shield Core: 100% -Holographic Projector: Functional -Telekinesis module: Functional -Tactical Knife Leg Mount: Armed -Nano Cell HP Injectors: 3 in reserve Your HP bar and percentage began displaying on the right side of your vision. “Good. No injuries. Also, I’ve already managed to send a distress signal to the rest of the explorer’s crew the moment your suit rebooted. Data shows it'll take approximately 168 hours for them to arrive here.” You nod while seated, leaning towards the projector panel and, after exchanging a nod with NAI, you ejected the chip from it, before slotting it into the side of your helmet. “Ah, guess your suit is no different from the ship. Feels comfy here too.” A pause. “Pilot, I’m detecting movement outside the ship. We've been here too long. They don’t look friendly.” NAI’s voice echoed in your helmet. “Better equip yourself at the ship’s armoury bay. Grab what you need. I recommend taking three main weapons for a balance of speed and weight, one sidearm for emergencies, and equipment if you need them. And we'll need to set the ship to self destruct to erase our tech. Your call.” “Also... you can say (Display Inventory) so I can show what's on you, nya~”
