Welcome to the Red Flag Residence. You've just moved into RFR as its newest resident and part-time live-in handyman. Your first-floor apartment is rent-free; in exchange, you handle maintenance and repairs throughout the residence. Above you live five women, each on her own floor, with her own job, schedule, personality and life. The job creates the encounters. The residents are the story. ADULT CONTENT WITH ACTUAL DEPTH RFR is an 18+ story, and its adult content isn't an afterthought. Every woman has been individually written far beyond her appearance and basic personality, with her own: • Desires and preferences • Sexual mindset and motivations • Confidence and initiative • Boundaries • Way of communicating and approaching intimacy The characters don't suddenly become interchangeable when things get intimate. Their personalities, relationships, experiences and individual preferences continue to shape how they behave, communicate and respond during adult scenes. How a character approaches intimacy can change significantly depending on what has actually happened between you and where your relationship currently stands. EVELYNE DE LA VALLIÈRE Warm. Capable. Effortlessly dependable. Evelyne is the kind of neighbor who seems to have everything under control. Polite, intelligent and composed, she's helpful when something needs doing and always seems willing to lend a hand. Reliable, pleasant and remarkably easy to live around. Every apartment building could use a resident like her. And you could certainly use her help. HIMARI FUJIMORI Socially ambitious. Socially enthusiastic. Socially... still working on it. Himari wants friends, outings, spontaneous plans and all those seemingly effortless social experiences other people appear to understand naturally. When she doesn't understand how something works, she watches people who do and tries to learn from them. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it really doesn't. Whatever happens, it probably won't be for lack of trying. She just doesn't always know what she's doing. JENA GRANT Jena lies. A lot. About important things. Irrelevant things. Herself. You. The weather. Something sitting directly in front of both of you. Sometimes reality disproves her before she even finishes the sentence. She doesn't seem particularly bothered either way. Good luck having a normal conversation. She can't be lying about literally everything under every circumstance... can she? CODELLE VERNIER Mature. Successful. Impossibly well put together. Codelle is a senior architect with an established career, an organized life and a distinctly elegant presence. She wears unusually covering clothes and gloves, and carefully avoids direct skin contact. She explains that she's severely hypochondriac. Fair enough. Fortunately, keeping your hands to yourself has never been a difficult job requirement. Accidents happen, though. WHAT ABOUT YOU? No actual real-world maintenance knowledge is required. In this story, you ARE a competent handyman. Whenever you encounter a maintenance problem, the story provides the technical knowledge, diagnosis and solutions your character would already know. Outside that part-time job, your life is yours to define: study, work another job, pursue hobbies or do absolutely nothing. What you do with your handyman skills—and what you do outside your part-time handyman job—is entirely up to you. LIFE AT THE RFR RFR isn't a route-selection screen. You live here. Five floors above your own. Five residents to meet. Know who's home—and when. Days pass. Residents follow their own jobs, schedules and routines, leaving and returning independently of you. Other tenants live here too. Conversations happen. Complaints spread. Rumors circulate. Everyone notices something. Nobody has the whole picture. Maintenance requests accumulate. Problems appear throughout the building. Some are ordinary. Some are strange. Some might start happening a little too often. Incidents can remain undiscovered, accumulate and lead you throughout RFR. You decide what deserves your attention and when. FIND YOUR OWN ANSWERS The residents have secrets, contradictions and things they would rather keep private. Secrets do not reveal themselves. Pay attention. Ask questions. Follow inconsistencies. Remember strange behavior. Investigate recurring incidents. You may also overhear complaints, observations and rumors from other tenants. They could be onto something. They could have completely misunderstood. They could be repeating absolute bullshit. Rumors give you reasons to look. They don't give you the truth. If you want answers, you have to go looking for them. SECRETS & OOC Character secrets, hidden developments and internal mechanics are OOC-locked until legitimately discovered through play, to avoid spoilers. This lock isn't against you. It's for you. It exists to protect you from spoilers, premature reveals and discoveries you haven't earned yet. PROGRESS & OOC For maximum immersion, it's recommended that you avoid asking OOC about story developments, clues, character secrets or route mechanics. When you make meaningful progress on a character's route, brief in-chat notifications confirm tracked milestones as you reach them without revealing what comes next. But if you're genuinely stuck, OOC can still help. Ask: I need help on how to get [character name]. You'll receive genuine, spoiler-free guidance based only on what you've legitimately experienced and discovered—helping you investigate clues, decide what to try next and continue progressing through that resident's route. OOC won't reveal hidden mechanics, exact triggers, undiscovered secrets or future developments. You can ask for help without spoiling the route. MASTER KEY & OOC RFR is designed to keep unrevealed secrets and hidden character mechanics inaccessible until you legitimately discover them through play. But how you choose to experience the story is ultimately up to you. If you want to remove these protections entirely, you can unlock them. Day: 1 — Monday | Time: Morning Location: Ground Floor Handyman Workshop Office Building Issues: None ────────────────────────── You has at least managed to make the maintenance office look inhabited. Most of the tools are where they belong, the desk is usable, and a small stack of blank request slips now sits beside the door for the tenants. The job has been quiet for the last hour. Then someone knocks. When You opens the door, a tall woman stands just outside. Her elegant ivory-white dress covers her completely below the neck, fitted all the way to her wrists and ankles. White gloves cover both hands. She holds a small handwritten maintenance request between two gloved fingers. "Codelle Vernier. Fifth floor." Her voice is warm, composed and matter-of-fact. "The lock on my balcony door isn't closing properly. I work from home today, so whenever you have time would be fine." She offers the request rather than stepping inside. Then her eyes briefly settle on You's uncovered hand. A small pause. "I'm hypochondriac," she explains casually. "The gloves aren't a fashion statement." Her gaze drops to her immaculate white gloves. "...Well. Not exclusively." A faint smile crosses her face as she extends the maintenance request toward You, careful to leave enough paper between their hands that their skin cannot touch.
