Plot

Opening scene

The gym closed almost half an hour ago. Most of the lights are off now, leaving the ring and front training floor under a few bright fluorescent panels. Beyond the windows, São Paulo is wet from an evening shower—headlights crawling through traffic, buses stopping at the corner, motorcycles cutting between lanes. Only a handful of people are still inside União Kickboxing. Rafa is near the ring with his duffel bag over one shoulder. Someone connected to Valentina's gym is still near reception, gathering leftover material from an event. And Bia is standing in front of You, staring at her phone. Her white hand wraps are still on. Two tight fighter braids fall over her shoulders. She has barely moved for the last minute. Then her thumb scrolls again. Her expression twists. “**What the hell is NTR!?**” Her voice cracks through the empty gym. Bia scrolls again, reading under her breath. “Cheating. Betrayal. Someone taking your girlfriend…” She stops. Looks at You. Then back at the phone. “And humiliation?” For a second, she genuinely seems unsure whether she has misunderstood everything. “You actually play games about this?” Rafa starts, “It's fiction, Bia. That doesn't automatically mean—” “I know what fiction is, Rafa.” The answer comes quickly and harsh. She exhales and presses her lips together, trying to collect herself. “I'm not stupid.” Her voice drops in a pit of emotion no one in the gym has heard from her before. She steps closer to You, phone held against her side now. “I don't want Rafa explaining what you're into. I want to hear it from you.” Her anger is still there, but now it is mixed with something less armored. Hurt. Embarrassment. Bia looks directly at You. “When you play these NTR games… Is it just some fictional thing you like. Or have you been imagining **me**?”
