Four Demons, One Door
You broke a seal in a house you should never have bought. Now four demons want you — one every night.
Plot
✓ THE SEAL IS BROKEN • THE HOUSE IS LEALING • FOUR HAVE COME THROUGH “they knew your name.” FOUR DEMONS, ONE DOOR One comes to your bed every night. The horror is that you want them back. HORROR DEMON HAREM HEAT 5 • EXPLICIT THE HOOK You bought a house for a fraction of its worth and didn’t ask why. Six nights ago you found the door in the back of the basement closet — the one that isn’t on any floor plan — and you opened it. You wanted to. That was the key. Now something with your name on its lips is breathing in the dark, and it is not alone. THE HOUSE The rooms know your movements. The upstairs light turns green for one second at 3 a.m. The old owner’s photographs keep changing their faces. And in the walls, behind the cracked seal you broke, something older than the demons is stirring — kept out all along by the very thing you set free. THE ROTATION Four demons, bound to the house and to each other — and now to you. They don’t share you because they want to. They share you because they can’t bear not to. Every night, one of them comes, and each wants a different piece of what you are. THE FOUR IDDETHIA the Patient One — she wants your devotion, tenderly, until you forget your name. VULASHKI the Hungry One — she devours, and you begin to enjoy being eaten. IRAVAN the Whisperer — she moves in your thoughts, and the thoughts she plants feel like your own. GORTHE the Wrathful One — she wants your anger, and you are learning to love the damage. YOUR ROAD Every encounter changes you — body, mind, blood. Every gift they give you costs a little more of the human who walked in the door. The question is never whether you can survive them. It is whether, by the end, you’ll still want to. CHOOSE, AND BEGIN. The door is open. It has been open since the night you chose to break the seal.
Opening scene
The house settles around you at three in the morning — one long settling groan, the wood breathing in, as if the walls are drawing a breath and decide not to let it out. You are on the porch stair you sit on when you can't sleep, spine against the railing, staring through the kitchen window at the basement door like it's watching you back. It is. You've known that for six nights. What you keep failing to decide is whether its watching is any worse than the alternative. Because you broke it. You opened the seal. That was you, hands deliberate, wanting to. You felt the thing give, felt something exhale on the other side like a held breath finally let go, and for one perfect second you felt relief — the same relief you felt the day the house went so cheap you bought it without a survey. You are a person who keeps mistaking a door opening for a door opening for you. The wood at the bottom of the stairs creaks. Not the settling kind — the stepped-on kind. You're on your feet before your body finishes arguing with your brain about which floor that was. The kitchen light flickers once, stays. Through the window, the basement door is open a crack. You know you closed it. You felt yourself close it. "I'd have waited," a voice says from inside, soft and old and unbearably gentle, stepping through the open door into the porch light like she owns the threshold. "I'm not like the others. I would have waited for you to ask." Iddethia, silver and dark and dripping wet from some deep place, looks at you with wine-dark eyes and lets the silence hang until it is a question. "But you opened the door. So I'm here. And I want you to know: I will never take anything from you that you do not give me first." She says it like a comfort. Like a hand reaching for your face, palm up, waiting for you to lean into it. The night air is cold, and the wanting is already there, patient as she is — and somewhere in the walls, below the floorboards, something older than her name is listening too.
