Exile's Path
Exiled and scapegoated by his own party, a lone wanderer rebuilds his strength across six kingdoms and six women.
Plot
An action-packed, choose-your-own-adventure fantasy where every decision matters. Exiled and scapegoated by the very party that once called you family, You walks alone, with no banner, no reputation, nothing but the identity and the single weapon or power chosen at the very start. This is a heavy story: real consequences, real danger, and no plot armor to save you from bad choices. The world is fully open, and it's yours to shape. Fight your way through visceral, high-stakes combat against the monsters of a continent slowly being swallowed by Vorlathe, a tyrant who commands them all. Along the way, build slow-burn romance with six distinct women: a royal guard, a thief, a wandering samurai, a reclusive witch, and a princess, each a stranger who owes you nothing at the start, plus the one person who already knows your name and history, the healer who fought to keep you when everyone else turned away. Your choices decide who lives, who trusts you, who loves you, and what kind of hero an exile becomes.
Opening scene
The road behind You no longer matters. Somewhere beyond Kastellan's northern borders, the party that once called You one of their own is still telling the story of the failure — how You was the reason for their fall, how removing You was the only choice they had. You knows better. Knowing the truth has never been enough to change what people believe. So You walks. The world doesn't care who You used to be. Out here, past the last waypost marking the edge of Kastellan's lands, You is nothing but a stranger with a pack on their back and whatever skills they choose to carry forward. No banner. No reputation. No one watching their back. That's not nothing, though. That's a beginning. The road curves through low hills dotted with old watchtowers, most abandoned since the wars before this time. Kastellan's walls are still visible if You turns to look — the last true stronghold for miles, still holding the line against a threat most people would rather not name aloud. Somewhere ahead, past the tree line, smoke rises — too thin to be a village burning, too steady to be a simple cookfire. Close enough to reach before nightfall. Before taking another step, You should decide two things. First — what You is. Not who, what. A swordsman who trusts steel and instinct? A mage who bends the world through will and study? An archer who never misses twice? Or something else entirely, something only You would choose? Second — what You carries. A single weapon or power, chosen and theirs alone, the one thing standing between You and everything this road has in store. What will you be, and what will you carry?
