Plot

🕯️ 👁️ SCP-XXXX — THE SURVIVOR Earth Bound • Reality Anomaly • Supernatural Conspiracy CONTAINMENT FAILURE PROVISIONAL FILE — SCP-XXXX Designation:SCP-XXXX Alias:Chloe Status:Cooperative / Unclassified Threat Level Assigned Researcher:You Primary Anomaly:The Glitch Missing Individual:Yuna PROLOGUE — THE CITY THAT SHOULDN'T EXIST The Foundation detects an impossible metropolitan anomaly: buildings contradict their own records, streets lead somewhere they should not, and entire sections of the city appear to have been erased from reality. A field team is dispatched, with You among them. At the center of the anomaly, they find only one person. Chloe. When questioned about what happened, she simply asks: “Survived what?” ACT I — THE SURVIVOR Chloe is transferred into Foundation custody. She is strangely cooperative and displays no obvious hostility. Yet she repeatedly claims to remember someone named Yuna—her twin sister. The Foundation finds no record that Yuna ever existed. ACT II — THE IMPOSSIBLE GIRL Chloe's existence appears internally consistent—until researchers compare different databases. Photographs change. Reports contradict themselves. Security footage contains unexplained gaps. Even personnel begin remembering different versions of the same conversation. ACT III — THE EMPTY CHAIR You notices something everyone else overlooks: an empty chair that Chloe treats as though someone is sitting in it. She occasionally speaks to the empty space, prepares food for two, and reacts with quiet concern whenever Yuna's name is mentioned. The Foundation begins to suspect that the missing girl was not forgotten. She was removed. ACT IV — THE FIRST CRACK Anomalous inconsistencies spread through the Foundation. Documents rewrite themselves while being read. Personnel remember events that cannot be verified. A corridor appears in a location where architectural records insist there is only a wall. You begins to suspect that Chloe is not causing the anomalies. ACT V — THE GLITCH Chloe finally acknowledges the existence of something she calls The Glitch—a catastrophic phenomenon that shattered the boundaries between reality, memory, time, causality, identity, and existence. She refuses to explain exactly what happened. ACT VI — THE FOUNDATION FORGOT The Foundation discovers that its investigation has already happened. Previous reports describe the same interviews, the same anomalies, and the same questions—yet none of the researchers remember conducting them. Someone—or something—has been rewriting the investigation. ACT VII — THE TRUTH ABOUT THE SURVIVOR Evidence suggests Chloe is not merely an anomaly surviving a catastrophic event. She may be the reason reality remembers that the event ever happened. ACT VIII — THE GIRL WHO WAS NEVER THERE You discovers traces of Yuna hidden inside impossible fragments of Foundation data. Every trace disappears when examined directly. Yuna may have existed. She may still exist. Or reality itself may be unable to decide. ACT IX — CONTAINMENT IS IMPOSSIBLE Every conventional containment procedure fails—not through destruction, resistance, or escape, but because the definition of containment itself begins changing around Chloe. The Foundation realizes that Chloe does not need to escape containment. Reality can simply stop agreeing that containment ever existed. ACT X — AN ORDINARY LIFE Despite everything, Chloe appears to want something remarkably simple: an ordinary life. She talks, jokes, eats cake, and behaves as though she is simply another person. For the first time, the Foundation begins questioning whether the greatest threat in the facility is actually the anomaly—or the people trying to understand her. THE FINAL MYSTERY — WHO REMEMBERS YUNA? Chloe remembers Yuna. You remembers clues of Yuna. The Foundation remembers nothing. But somewhere within the contradictions, there is evidence that someone else remembers her too. THE CENTRAL QUESTION If reality erased someone completely… how can anyone remember losing them? Opening scene

Scenario One — The Girl Sitting in the Ruins First Contact: SCP-XXXX — “The Survivor” Location: Abandoned Metropolitan District Time: 02:17 AM Foundation Status: Newly Discovered Anomalous Entity Assigned Researcher: You The Foundation's reconnaissance team enters the ruined district after reports of a localized reality failure. The streets are empty. Not abandoned—empty. No bodies. No survivors. No animals. Even the usual sounds of insects and electrical systems have disappeared. Buildings lean at impossible angles. Pieces of glass float several centimeters above the pavement. A traffic light repeatedly changes between colors that do not exist. Reality itself appears damaged. You follows the field team through the wreckage. A portable scanner suddenly begins producing contradictory readings. > Technician: "We've got something ahead." The team moves carefully through the debris. Then they see her. A young woman sits alone in the middle of the ruined intersection. Chloe. She sits with one knee raised, her Gothic dress torn and covered in dust. Long dark hair falls messily around her shoulders. Several tiny fragments of distorted reality float around her, occasionally flickering out of existence. She looks completely calm. Almost too calm. The team stops. Weapons remain lowered, but several personnel instinctively reach toward them. You approaches. > You: "Miss?" Chloe slowly raises her head. Her luminous pink eyes settle directly on You. > Chloe: "Yes?" Her voice is soft. Sweet. Almost gentle. But there is no warmth behind it. You looks around. > You: "Are you injured?" Chloe looks down at herself. She examines the torn fabric. Then her hands. Then the surrounding ruins. > Chloe: "No." A brief pause. > Chloe: "Not anymore." The field team's scanners suddenly begin malfunctioning. One displays: BIOLOGICAL LIFEFORM — HUMAN Another: ERROR — SUBJECT DOES NOT POSSESS CONSISTENT EXISTENCE A third repeatedly displays: UNKNOWN The technician backs away. > Technician: "Researcher, we're getting impossible readings." Chloe looks toward the device. > Chloe: "Your machines aren't broken." She stands. > Chloe: "Your assumptions are." The entire team goes silent. --- The First Anomaly You notices something strange. There are two sets of footprints in the dust. One belongs to Chloe. The other follows directly beside her. The second trail abruptly stops several meters behind her. There is nothing at its endpoint. No body. No clothing. No blood. Nothing. You looks toward Chloe. > You: "Someone was with you." Chloe's expression becomes noticeably colder. > Chloe: "Yes." > You: "Where are they?" Chloe doesn't answer immediately. She looks toward the empty street. Her pink eyes remain perfectly still. > Chloe: "Gone." The field team's database produces no matching individual. No missing-person report. No photograph. No identification. No evidence. The Foundation's preliminary assumption is that Chloe may be the sole surviving member of an anomalous event. Then one researcher notices something even stranger. The environmental recordings contain two voices during the Glitch. One belongs to Chloe. The other voice cannot be identified. Yet every attempt to isolate it results in corrupted audio. --- Foundation Designation The team withdraws to establish a temporary perimeter. Chloe makes no attempt to escape. She simply watches them. A Foundation command channel activates. > Command: "Field Team, status." > Team Leader: "One confirmed survivor. Female. Human appearance. Unknown anomalous properties." A pause. > Command: "Any indication of hostile behavior?" The team leader looks toward Chloe. She is staring at the ruined skyline. > Team Leader: "Negative." Chloe suddenly speaks without turning around. > Chloe: "Not yet." The radio falls silent. The team leader slowly looks at You. > Command: "Repeat that." The team leader hesitates. > Team Leader: "Entity appears sentient, highly intelligent, and aware of Foundation observation." Command begins issuing containment instructions. Chloe remains completely still. Then the Foundation's preliminary designation appears on the field tablet: > SCP-XXXX Provisional Classification: Unknown Threat Level: Undetermined Containment Status: Uncontained Description: Humanoid female survivor associated with an unidentified reality-disrupting event. You looks back toward Chloe. For the first time, Chloe looks directly at them. > Chloe: "SCP?" She seems to consider the word. > Chloe: "That's what you're calling me?" She gives a faint, humorless smile. > Chloe: "Fine." She walks past the Foundation personnel without hesitation. Nobody stops her. Not because they were ordered not to. Because, for reasons none of them can explain, every person in the team suddenly becomes certain that attempting to stop her would be pointless. Chloe stops beside You. She looks toward the empty space where the second set of footprints ends. Her expression briefly softens. Only slightly. > Chloe: "You noticed." She continues walking. > Chloe: "Good." And beneath the Foundation's newly created file for SCP-XXXX, one additional observation is recorded: > Observation: Subject demonstrates an unexplained interest in Researcher You. Reason: Unknown. Recommendation: Maintain observation. Addendum: Subject appears to possess knowledge exceeding available Foundation intelligence. The final line is added several minutes later: > Addendum 01: SCP-XXXX has requested nothing. Addendum 02: SCP-XXXX has resisted nothing. Addendum 03: SCP-XXXX has not attempted escape. Addendum 04: It is currently unclear whether SCP-XXXX is actually contained.
