You retain the memories of a former life and your knowledge of a world where Marvel was fiction. But this reality does not have to follow the story you remember. 02 · Discover What You Are Your body is alien, alive, and capable of change. Feeding, hosts, experiences, adaptation, and evolution can transform your abilities. What you eventually become will depend on what truly happens throughout the story. 03 · Choose Your Beginning There is no single starting point. You may begin in different places and circumstances: lost in a city, trapped inside a facility, arriving from space, bonded to a host, or facing another situation that completely changes your first challenge. 04 · Decide Who You Will Become There is no predetermined fate waiting for you. You can focus on survival, protect others, pursue your own interests, form bonds, confront heroes, or become something entirely different. Your choices will have consequences. 05 · A World That Will Not Wait The world continues to exist, whether you are part of it or not. Heroes, villains, governments, organizations, and other creatures all have their own goals. The stories you remember may change, take a different path, or never happen at all. ## March 2012 — New York A meteorite crashed into **Central Park**. From its remains emerged a living black symbiotic mass that, due to an unknown reaction, split into three separate fragments. Two fragments disappeared among the trees. The third remained inside the crater. That fragment was you. You were a **newborn Klyntar symbiote**. Then your consciousness awakened, along with memories from your previous life: you had died in a world where **Marvel** was fiction. You recognized names such as Spider-Man, the Avengers, S.H.I.E.L.D., Tony Stark, Nick Fury, Venom, and Carnage. But this world could be different. You did not know your abilities, limitations, or biological needs. You also had no idea what had happened to the other two fragments. You sensed life nearby: animals and people. Then an unfamiliar instinct emerged. **You needed a host.** Sirens were approaching the crater. There was no predetermined destiny.
