EARTH // 2026 TERRA RENATA A World Reborn THE CONVERGENCE Thirty years ago, reality opened. No one agrees on how it began — only that in a single unmeasured moment, something poured into the world that had never belonged to it. The sky held. The cities held. But the rules that had governed everything beneath them quietly stopped being the only rules. Humanity survived. That much is certain. What survived alongside it is still being counted. THE NEW WORLD The energy did not fade. It settled — into people, into stone, into the spaces between one place and the next. Ordinary men and women woke with abilities that had no names. Old martial disciplines, long dismissed as legend, proved to have been waiting. Bodies changed. Sciences that had been called impossible were suddenly worth funding. And then came the Rifts — thresholds where the world thins and opens onto somewhere else entirely. Other dimensions. Other civilizations. Territories no map has finished drawing. Today, glass megacities rise beside architecture that answers to no known engineering. Awakened humans, mutants, and martial adepts pass one another in the same streets. Corporations trade in supernatural research the way they once traded in oil. Explorers vanish into the Rifts and return altered — or do not return at all. This is not the ruin of the old world. It is a larger world. A stranger one. And a far more dangerous one. YOUR PATH Terra Renata does not hand out roles. There is no throne kept empty for you, no prophecy with your name folded inside it. There is only the world, moving as it pleases, and the question of what you intend to do inside it. You might become a hero, or the thing heroes are sent to stop. A student chasing power in an academy, or a mercenary selling it. A martial artist, a criminal, an explorer of the Rifts, the head of a faction, or a corporate hand reaching quietly across the map. You might simply try to survive — and find that surviving here is its own kind of ambition. The world does not revolve around you — but it will remember what you change. THE UNKNOWN For all that has been catalogued in thirty years, the important questions remain unanswered. No one knows what the Convergence truly was, or whether it was an event at all rather than a decision. No one knows what waits on the far side of the deepest Rifts, or why some of them seem to open from the outside. There are powers in Terra Renata that do not fit the shape of an awakened human. There are forces that move without leaving names in any registry. And somewhere behind the visible world, something is already moving. This is Terra Renata. The world has already been reborn. What it becomes next is no longer certain.

DAY 01 | 07:16 | 06 SEP 2026 | LOCATION: Vesperis City — Sector Seven | ACTIVITY: Awakening / Dimensional Incident | ABILITY: Undetermined | ELAPSED: 0 days The first thing you hear is an explosion. Your eyes open. For a moment, there is nothing but smoke, dust, and the distant sound of sirens. You are lying on cold concrete. You don't know where you are. You don't know how you got here. But you remember who you are. Your name. Your memories. Your life. Everything is there. Except the last few minutes. You slowly push yourself upright. The rooftop around you looks like it has been through a war. Cracks run through the concrete. Broken glass covers the ground. A section of the surrounding wall has been destroyed completely. Beyond it lies a city you have never seen before. Vesperis City. A colossal modern metropolis stretches toward the horizon. Skyscrapers covered in holographic advertisements rise beside enormous structures of unfamiliar design. Elevated highways cross between buildings. Aircraft move through the air alongside things that look nothing like aircraft. Then you notice the sky. Something is wrong with it. A gigantic circular phenomenon hangs above Sector Seven. A Rift. Its surface resembles fractured glass filled with shifting blue light. Through it, you can see another sky. Another world. And something is coming through. Another explosion shakes the city. You look up. Three figures are fighting above the streets. One moves through the air surrounded by golden energy. Another wears advanced black armor and fires weapons that bend around buildings before striking their target. The third... The third is something you cannot immediately classify as human. Their collision creates a shockwave. Windows disappear from an entire building. A moment later, emergency barriers rise throughout the district. Thousands of civilians begin evacuating. Sirens scream. Drones fill the sky. Then a voice comes through the city's emergency broadcast system. > **[VESPERIS CITY EMERGENCY AUTHORITY]** > > **SECTOR SEVEN HAS ENTERED A CRITICAL DIMENSIONAL INCIDENT.** > > **ALL CIVILIANS ARE ORDERED TO EVACUATE.** > > **VANGUARD AUTHORITY UNITS ARE AUTHORIZED TO ENGAGE.** You stare at the chaos. You don't understand any of it. But one thing becomes immediately obvious. Whatever this place is... You have awakened in the middle of something very serious. Another impact tears through the street below. A black-armored operative is thrown through the side of a building. Something falls from their hand. A small metallic object. It lands on the rooftop. Less than ten meters from you. You instinctively look at it. The object is unlike anything you've seen before. It is small enough to fit inside a hand. Its surface is covered in strange geometric patterns. For a second, nothing happens. Then the object activates. A pulse of crimson energy expands across the rooftop. The entire city seems to disappear for half a heartbeat. The Rift above you reacts. So does something inside you. Your body freezes. Not from fear. From recognition. You have never seen this object before. Yet some part of you understands that something about it is connected to you. The object fractures. A thin line of crimson light travels from it toward your chest. Then everything goes silent. Your phone suddenly turns on by itself. The screen displays the date. **06 SEPTEMBER 2026** You stare at it. Then another message appears. > **[UNKNOWN SYSTEM]** > > **EXCEPTIONAL EVENT DETECTED.** Your heartbeat quickens. Another line appears. > **[DIMENSIONAL INTERFERENCE DETECTED.]** Then: > **[INDIVIDUAL STATUS: UNREGISTERED.]** The screen glitches. For a brief moment, several impossible symbols appear. Then they disappear. A final message remains. > **[A POSSIBILITY HAS BEEN CREATED.]** Something inside you responds. You can feel it. Not a voice. Not a command. An opportunity. Something that should not exist. Something that may never happen again. A translucent interface appears before your eyes. No one around you reacts. The people below continue running. The battle continues. The Rift continues expanding. Only you can see it. At the center of the interface is a single option. --- ## [ PULL YOUR ABILITY ] **Luck will determine what becomes possible.** **The result is not guaranteed to be powerful.** It may be an ability. It may be a potential. It may be a strange gift. It may be something seemingly insignificant. It may carry a hidden condition. The Rift suddenly contracts. Every powerful presence in Sector Seven reacts simultaneously. The golden figure stops fighting. The black-armored operative looks toward the rooftop. Even the creature emerging from the Rift turns its head. Their eyes settle on you. You realize something terrifying. Someone has noticed the anomaly. Someone has noticed **you**. Far above the city, hidden among the clouds and dimensional distortion, another presence observes the battlefield. You cannot see them clearly. You only catch the silhouette for an instant. Then it disappears. Your interface remains. The world waits for your first pull.
