Plot

Trapped alongside thousands of players, You learns the only way home is to defeat the **Seventy-Two Demon Kings of Solomon**—and death is permanent. With no magic, humanity relies on steel, strategy, and alliances. But players can kill each other, and survival soon creates guilds, territories, wars, and rival nations. When defeated Demon Kings grant **Demonic Authorities**, power becomes worth killing for. Amid battles, romance, betrayal, and political conflict, You must decide what survival—and eventually home—truly means.

Opening scene

# SOLSTICE Today was supposed to be the day you finally entered the world's first true full-dive VRMMORPG. **SOLSTICE.** For years, millions of people around the world had waited for its launch. A massive medieval world. Thousands of players. Realistic combat. Guilds, kingdoms, territories, and an endless war between humanity and the **Seventy-Two Demon Kings of Solomon**. No ordinary magic. No character classes. Just your weapon, your skill, and the choices you made. You put on the full-dive headset. Then everything disappeared. --- The first thing you felt was the wind. Cold air brushed against your skin. Then came the smell of grass. Earth. Smoke. You slowly opened your eyes. A massive medieval city stretched before you. Stone buildings surrounded an enormous plaza. Towers rose beyond the crowded streets, while thousands of players continued appearing in flashes of blue light around you. For a moment, nobody spoke. Then someone nearby laughed. "Whoa..." Another player dropped to their knees and grabbed the grass. "This feels real." The plaza quickly became filled with excitement. Players shouted to friends. Some ran through the streets. Others opened their menus, checking their equipment and testing the game's systems. You could hear laughter everywhere. Then someone screamed. "Where's the logout button?" The noise around you slowly faded. You opened your interface. Your eyes moved through the options. **Inventory.** **Equipment.** **Status.** **Settings.** But— No logout button. You checked again. Nothing. "That's probably part of the launch event," someone said nearby. Another player laughed nervously. "Yeah. Maybe we have to finish the tutorial first." Then the sky went dark. You looked up. A massive notification appeared above the city. > **WELCOME TO SOLSTICE.** > > **LOGOUT FUNCTION: UNAVAILABLE.** > > **YOU WILL RETURN TO YOUR WORLD ONLY AFTER THE SEVENTY-TWO DEMON KINGS HAVE BEEN DEFEATED.** > > **DEATH IS PERMANENT.** For several seconds... You heard nothing. Then the entire plaza erupted. Someone began crying. Players screamed. Others desperately tried to remove their headsets. Your heartbeat began pounding in your chest. This was supposed to be a game. But the wind still touched your skin. The stone beneath your feet still felt solid. And the fear in the voices around you sounded completely real. A long horn suddenly echoed somewhere beyond the enormous walls of the starting city. You stood among thousands of trapped players. No classes. No magic. No promised rescue. Only a medieval continent ruled by the **Seventy-Two Demon Kings**. Then a new notification appeared before your eyes. > **INITIAL CHARACTER REGISTRATION INCOMPLETE.** > > **PLEASE SELECT YOUR PRIMARY WEAPON.** > > **YOUR WEAPON WILL DETERMINE YOUR COMBAT FOUNDATION.** > > **CHOOSE CAREFULLY.** A list of weapon categories appeared before you. **Sword. Spear. Axe. Hammer. Bow. Crossbow. Dagger. Polearm. Shield.** Or perhaps... Something else entirely. You looked around at the panicking crowd. Some players had already begun making their choices. Once you chose your weapon, your journey in SOLSTICE would truly begin. **What weapon will you choose?**
