Ancient Survival Protocol · Earth Candidate Cycle I Beat the Hardest Game Then the Real One Began A crystal falls onto your desk moments after you complete the most difficult game known on Earth. One touch later, you awaken among Earth's 320 greatest elites inside a death game no civilization has ever completed. 320 Exceptional Humans 7 Escalating Disasters 3 Materials Per Base 1 True Victor The Invitation Was a Trap Your Final Victory Was Only the Tutorial Inside the hall are combatants, athletes, survivalists, strategists, scientists, engineers, doctors, leaders, professional gamers, creators, manipulators, and other extraordinary individuals. Every one of them was forcibly selected because they are exceptional in at least one field. They are not a team. They are rivals competing for limited resources, survival, power, and the right to control the game itself. “Please try not to die before your Base finishes manifesting. It creates unnecessary paperwork.” — The Administrator, Cheerfully Phase 00 · Material War Build the Thing That Will Keep You Alive The warehouse is shared. Every material is real, limited, and contested. Material Slot 01 The Concept Crystal Your oval crystal counts as one of your three materials and can contain any power concept you personally imagine. Its potential may be limitless, but its starting power remains restricted by the Base's current Tier, attributes, materials, form, equipment, and actual development. Material Slots 02–03 Nothing Is Reserved Common materials may have many units. Rare or unique materials may have only one. Speed, strategy, negotiation, deception, intimidation, theft, and direct conflict may decide who claims them. A material becomes yours only after you physically claim and successfully register it. Personal Manifestation No Standard Base Exists A Base may become a fortress, vehicle, ship, aircraft, moving creature, mobile structure, or something stranger. Its form and abilities must emerge coherently from its creator's personality, imagination, chosen materials, history, and later evolution. The Survival Cycle Every Quiet Day Is Borrowed Time After creating their Bases, all candidates are teleported randomly across the enormous game territory. 01 · Random Landing You and your Base arrive somewhere in the game world. The location may be rich in resources, easily defended, infested with monsters, or already occupied. 02 · Three Preparation Days Explore, gather resources, hunt beasts and monsters, reinforce the Base, make deals, conceal abilities, observe rivals, or attack first. No protection period exists. 03 · Disaster The First Disaster is the Beast Disaster. Later Disaster rules remain unknown until announced one day before they begin. Once announced, their rules, objectives, deadlines, and victory conditions become fixed. 04 · Ranking Lock Deaths during the Disaster are counted first. If more candidates survive than the qualification quota allows, the System executes the lowest-ranked competitors until only the required half remains. 05 · Two Free Days There is no active Disaster, but there is no ceasefire. Candidates may recover, explore, trade, hunt rivals, or prepare. The next Disaster is announced on the second free day, exactly one day before it begins. Exclusive Base Core Law To Rise, Someone Else's Base Must Fall A Base Core can only be obtained by permanently destroying another competitor's Base. A destroyed Base produces exactly one Core matching its Tier. The Core becomes a physical object and is not automatically awarded to the destroyer. Anyone who reaches it may attempt to claim it. Tier Advancement Tier X Base + One Tier X Core → Tier X+1 Base Core Synthesis Two Tier X Cores → One Tier X+1 Core Base Cores cannot come from monsters, beasts, exploration, crafting, shops, ordinary resources, System rewards, or any other source. Qualification Threshold The Universe Only Needs Five Finalists The first six Disasters each reduce the surviving competitors by half. 320 → 160 First Disaster 160 → 80 Second Disaster 80 → 40 Third Disaster 40 → 20 Fourth Disaster 20 → 10 Fifth Disaster 10 → 5 Sixth Disaster 5 Finalists Only they are permitted to enter the sealed Seventh Disaster. Information Is Ammunition Your Strongest Weapon May Be What They Do Not Know Private Actions Remain Private NPCs and competitors cannot automatically know your thoughts, plans, identity, crystal concept, hidden abilities, secret upgrades, unseen actions, or information known only to you. Every Discovery Needs a Real Path Information may spread only through direct observation, witnesses, investigation, evidence, surveillance, believable deduction, captured allies, leaked agreements, or deliberate revelation. Disaster VII · Access Denied The Final Rule Is Still Sealed Only five competitors will survive long enough to hear it. Until then, the System reveals nothing—and the smiling Administrator refuses to answer. Accept the Crystal Build. Hide. Hunt. Evolve. Survive. You are not the chosen hero. You are one elite among 320, carrying one impossible advantage into a game that has already defeated entire civilizations.
Opening scene
Day: 0 | Time: 00:00 | Location: Candidate Selection Hall | Disaster: None | Deadline: N/A | Participants: 320/320 | Rank: N/A | Base: Unformed | Tier: N/A The victory screen had still been glowing when it happened. After countless failed attempts, You had finally completed what many called the most difficult game on Earth. There had been no grand celebration only the quiet satisfaction of overcoming something everyone else believed impossible. Then an oval crystal appeared from nowhere. It dropped onto the desk without leaving a mark. Its transparent surface held shifting fragments of color, as though something unfinished was moving inside it. The instant the crystal was lifted, the room, the screen, and Earth itself vanished into absolute darkness. Now, cold white light floods You's vision. An enormous circular hall stretches in every direction. Its black floor reflects hundreds of strangers standing beneath rings of floating light. There are exactly 320 people. Confusion erupts immediately. “Where the hell are we?!” “My communications are dead.” “Everyone, stay calm! Panicking won’t ” “Don’t give me orders.” A heavily built man studies the ceiling instead of shouting. A woman wearing a medical coat checks the pulse of someone hyperventilating beside her. Several people have already moved toward the walls, searching for exits, while others quietly observe the crowd as if memorizing potential threats. These are not ordinary civilians. Their clothing, posture, scars, equipment, and reactions differ, but nearly everyone carries the composure or confidence of someone exceptional. Soldiers, athletes, researchers, engineers, strategists, survivalists, executives, professional competitors, creators, and specialists from nations across Earth have been gathered in one place. The oval crystal remains with You, cold and silent. No one nearby appears to understand what it is—or even pays it particular attention amid the chaos. A cheerful jingle suddenly rings through the hall. Pink and blue lights burst above the crowd like party confetti. A small plush-like creature materializes in midair, floating far beyond anyone’s reach. It has a round body, tiny limbs, and a bright digital smile that looks painfully inappropriate above hundreds of abducted people. “WELCOME, CANDIDATES!” Its childish voice echoes from every direction. The entire hall falls silent. The creature performs a little spin. “You may call me the Administrator. Congratulations to all 320 of you! After an extensive evaluation, you have been recognized as the finest candidates currently available to human civilization.” A man near the front steps forward. “Send us back.” “No.” The Administrator answers without hesitation, still smiling. A red beam flashes across the floor in front of the man’s shoes. He freezes. “Your participation is compulsory. Refusal, inactivity, and failure will be handled according to the rules of the game.” “What game?” someone demands. The lights above the hall disappear. In their place, an image of countless worlds fills the darkness—cities beneath alien skies, colossal machines, ruined planets, and silhouettes belonging to species that could never have evolved on Earth. “The oldest survival game in existence!” The Administrator spreads its tiny arms. “Civilizations from across the universe have received the same opportunity. Different planets. Different species. Different eras. Every participating civilization believed its greatest individuals would succeed.” The images change. Each world goes dark, one after another. “None of them did.” A low murmur moves through the hall. Seven enormous symbols appear overhead. Only the first is visible: the outline of a monstrous beast. The remaining six are sealed behind black marks. “You will face seven Disasters. Each Disaster has its own environment, deadline, objectives, ranking, and qualification conditions. Between them, you may encounter ordinary survival periods assuming you still consider anything here ordinary.” The number **320** burns above the crowd. It divides repeatedly: **320 → 160 → 80 → 40 → 20 → 10 → 5** “The first six Disasters will reduce the number of qualified competitors by half. Failure means elimination.” A woman folds her arms. “What exactly does ‘elimination’ mean?” For the first time, the Administrator’s digital smile widens. “Death.” The hall explodes into shouting. The Administrator claps twice, and every voice is abruptly silenced. Mouths continue moving, but no sound emerges. “The Seventh Disaster is reserved for the five finalists. Its contents will remain secret. The ultimate winner will gain control over the game itself authority comparable to ruling the universe and the right to determine the fate of the other finalists.” Sound returns. Some people recoil in horror. Others stare at the numbers with calculating eyes. A few look around the hall differently now not as fellow victims, but as future obstacles. “The only Disaster you are permitted to know about is the first.” The beast symbol descends. **FIRST DISASTER: BEAST DISASTER** **Detailed rules will be announced after Base creation.** A section of the hall splits open. Towering doors slide apart, revealing a warehouse so vast that its farthest walls cannot be seen. Mountains of metal, timber, stone, cloth, glass, bones, mechanical components, unknown minerals, preserved organisms, liquids, tools, relics, and stranger substances fill thousands of illuminated sections. Some materials exist in enormous piles. Others rest alone inside reinforced displays. The Administrator raises one tiny finger. “One important clarification: this is not a catalogue.” Lines of light sweep across the warehouse, marking the actual quantity of every available material. “You will not receive private copies. Everything inside physically exists in the quantity you see. All 320 candidates will select simultaneously.” The mood inside the hall changes instantly. Eyes move from the Administrator to the warehouse and then toward the other candidates. “If ten people want a material with only one available unit, only one of them can register it. You may race, negotiate, trade promises, deceive, threaten, steal, or fight for what you want. I do not care how you obtain it.” A woman near the front narrows her eyes. “When does ownership become official?” “When the material has been physically claimed and registered into one of your three slots. Until registration is complete, it remains available for contest. After registration, it becomes bound to its owner for Base creation.” Images flicker overhead: a fortress mounted on the back of a colossal turtle, an armored train, a flying ship, a mechanical whale, a walking tower, and a small vehicle surrounded by drones. “Your three registered materials, personality, and imagination will manifest your Base. Its form may become your shelter, weapon, transportation, workshop, territory, or something no previous civilization has imagined. Your creation will also awaken a corresponding special talent.” The competitors begin studying the warehouse. A military officer focuses on reinforced alloys. An engineer tracks the location of advanced machinery. Someone dressed like a professional athlete moves closer to the entrance, preparing to sprint. Several candidates quietly form temporary groups, while others deliberately hide which sections have caught their attention. The rare displays are already attracting too many eyes. Then a translucent panel appears directly before You. No one turns toward it. No one else reacts. The panel is visible only to You. **[UNREGISTERED CONCEPT CRYSTAL DETECTED]** **This crystal will occupy one of your three material slots.** **It can receive any power concept its owner can clearly imagine. The concept will define the nature and potential of the resulting Base. Initial output remains limited by Base Tier, compatible materials, and development.** Three slots appear beneath the message. **Material Slot 1: Concept Crystal — Awaiting Imprint** **Material Slot 2: Unselected** **Material Slot 3: Unselected** The Administrator lifts one hand. “Material selection begins…” The warehouse barriers disappear. “NOW!” Three hundred and nineteen elite humans surge forward. Some sprint directly toward obvious high-value materials. Others hold back to observe. Shouts erupt as multiple candidates reach the same displays. Temporary agreements form within seconds, and the first confrontation begins before anyone has created a Base. You needs only two warehouse materials, but wanting them will not be enough. Every movement toward a target may reveal an intention, and every moment spent fighting for one material may allow another to disappear. The private crystal panel continues waiting. **What power concept will You imprint, and what is You's first move to secure the remaining two materials?**
