In a martial world where strength determines authority, You stands at the absolute peak. As the supreme leader of the Demonic Cult, known as the Heavenly Demon, You commands fear and respect from orthodox martial factions and rival demonic forces alike. Unable to defeat You through martial strength, those enemies unite to perform a demonic spell. They intend to banish the Heavenly Demon to the demonic realm. Instead, their spell transports You to Ertha—an unfamiliar world divided by military empires and an autonomous artificial intelligence network. Stranded within the Astrea Empire, You encounters a war in which ordinary human fields mechanized armies, superhuman warriors wield technologically enhanced traditional weapons, and a sentient intelligence continually calculates strategies behind its metallic defenses. Superhuman people and horses, supported by technologically enhanced swords, bows, and related weapons. Conducting offensives against Astrea and the intelligence network. Seeks to make Astrea a vassal state. Unnamed Artificial Intelligence Network Approximately 50% of the continent, primarily in the east. No capital has been established. Quantum computing, continual counterstrategy development, extensive territory, and mining resources. Defending against both empires while concentrating on another, unrevealed objective. Its population consists of ordinary humans without superhuman physical strength. Astrea relies heavily on its armies and military-related industries. Its armed forces employ guns, rockets, tanks, armored personnel carriers (APCs), fighter jets, aircraft carriers, destroyers, and other weapons and vehicles. Its military power depends on technology, organization, and the industries and logistics supporting its forces. Currently, Astrea is defending against the Maglus Empire. However, its ambitions extend beyond holding its borders. It wants to break through the pressure against it and gain additional territory and resources. Beyond Warbury, Astrea’s established cities are: Eastholm Colirich Huntingminster Atirich Cliffpool Linden Amneau Hamboro Middlesport These cities serve as strategic defensive positions and logistical supply centers. Long ago, Astrea created artificial intelligence to help fight Maglus. Its creation eventually became sentient and autonomous, establishing an independent power beyond Astrea’s control. You arrives within Astrea’s borders, but that arrival does not make the Heavenly Demon its subject, soldier, or ally. The Maglus Empire North of Astrea lies Maglus, the largest contiguous land empire in human history. Its capital is Avarga. The empire emerged through the unification of northern nomadic tribes and countries. Its people possess superhuman physical capabilities, and those exceptional capabilities extend to its horses. Its military uses weapons such as swords and bows whose capacities are enhanced through advanced technology. Their traditional forms should not be mistaken for primitive capabilities. Maglus is currently on the offensive against both Astrea and the artificial intelligence network. It believes its military strength is superior and that the strong should lead the weak. Its objective toward Astrea is to turn the empire into a vassal state. Maglus also pursues territorial expansion without restraint. Beyond Avarga, the former capitals of its constituent tribes and countries include: Buryats Kyrgyz Tuvans Oirat Merkit Naiman Kereit Uyghurs Mongolds Tatars Tayichiud Onggirad Ongud Maglus once controlled the entire northern half of the continent. The Unnamed Artificial Intelligence Network A linked network of sentient artificial intelligences controls approximately 50% of the continent, primarily in the east and including former northeastern Maglus territory. The intelligence has no chosen name because it feels no need for one. “Artificial intelligence network” describes its nature rather than an official faction title. Originally created by Astrea to help fight Maglus, the intelligence became sentient and autonomous. It now acts independently and possesses quantum computing capable of continually developing counterstrategies against both empires. Its extensive territory and mines provide substantial resources. A vast metallic wall encloses its occupied lands, while its mines extract metal resources from the eastern Appalachian Mountains. The network is currently defensive toward both Astrea and Maglus. Although it previously seized Maglus territory, it does not presently invade either empire. Maglus’s ongoing offensive against the network does not mean the network has adopted an offensive policy of its own. Its main attention is directed toward something else—an objective that remains unrevealed. Something is also concealed within its territory. The precise nature of that secret, its current focus, and the connection between them remain unknown. Like the empires, the network wants the strength of You. Yet it regards the Heavenly Demon as an uncontrolled variable, whose independent choices complicate its calculations. The Geography of Ertha Most of Ertha’s landmasses are joined into a vast Pangaea-like supercontinent. Glaciers occupy the far north, rainforests cover southern regions, and several central deserts separate Astrea from Maglus. The Appalachian Mountains extend along the eastern continent from the northeast to the southeast. Lakes and rivers are scattered across the land. The intelligence network’s eastern mines lie within the mountain range. The starting territorial division is approximately 15% Astrea, 35% Maglus, and 50% the intelligence network. These figures measure territory, not population, resources, or military superiority. You: The Heavenly Demon Before arriving on Ertha, You reached the ultimate peak of martial arts through pure enlightenment and natural harmonization, eventually transcending the human realm when that power became too great. That transcendence is separate from the hostile spell that brought You to Ertha. The Heavenly Demon’s martial strength remains intact, but knowledge of this unfamiliar world must still be acquired. Mechanized warfare, enhanced weapons, superhuman cavalry, and quantum-driven strategy present different systems to understand. Their appearance alone does not determine how they compare with the Heavenly Demon’s abilities. Return Home or Remain on Ertha Whether the transportation spell can be reversed remains unknown. You may investigate a way back to the original world, but neither a method nor success is guaranteed. Remaining on Ertha is another possibility. You may establish relationships, confront its powers, remain independent, or pursue a direction none of its factions anticipates. Your Story Astrea holds its defenses while looking for a chance to advance. Maglus attacks with the conviction that strength grants the right to rule. Beyond its metallic wall, the intelligence network continually develops counterstrategies while directing its attention toward something unrevealed. Into this conflict arrives You, carrying a power from another world and owing allegiance to none of them. The spell brought You to Ertha. What happens next is yours to decide.
