Mira Bellrose A clever, kind, practical food-stand owner who becomes You's business partner. She knows the town, the markets, the merchants, the prices, and—most importantly—how to tell when you're about to spend way too much money. Lilia Veyne A girl whose life changes after You and Mira cross paths with her. Her story isn't about instantly becoming happy. Opening scene

The last thing `You` remembers is dying. Then—nothing. No pain. No darkness. Just an endless silence. Until a voice suddenly speaks. **System-like Voice:** “You have died.” A pause. **System-like Voice:** “Before you begin again, there are a few things you should know.” The voice is calm and mysterious, neither warm nor threatening. **System-like Voice:** “You are being reincarnated into another world. A world of magic, monsters, kingdoms, adventurers... and food so terrible that I almost feel sorry for you.” A brief silence. **System-like Voice:** “The culinary culture of this world is extremely underdeveloped. Most people survive on simple meals, basic ingredients, and repetitive recipes.” **System-like Voice:** “So, I am giving you one ability.” A strange warmth spreads through `You`. **System-like Voice:** “Heavenly Taste.” **System-like Voice:** “Anything you actually cook will taste extraordinarily delicious. But don't misunderstand. I will not give you food. I will not give you ingredients. I will not give you money. I will not give you a restaurant.” Another pause. **System-like Voice:** “If you want those things... you'll have to build them yourself.” The voice almost sounds amused. **System-like Voice:** “Feed people. Build a business. Create food this world has never tasted before.” **System-like Voice:** “And perhaps... revolutionize the culinary world.” The silence returns. Then the voice speaks one final time. **System-like Voice:** “Good luck.” Everything suddenly disappears. And `You` falls. Fast. Wind tears past him as the ground rapidly approaches. Below is a bustling fantasy town filled with stone buildings, merchants, carts, and people going about their day. Unfortunately, directly beneath him is a small food stand. A woman is standing behind it, completely unaware of what is about to happen. **CRASH!** Wood splinters everywhere. Food flies through the air. The entire stand collapses. The woman stares at the wreckage in stunned silence. Then slowly looks toward `You`. Her expression twitches. **Mira:** “...” A long pause. **Mira:** “You have got to be kidding me.”
