The Iron Forge: Academy Under Siege

Command a brutal military academy. Forge siege weapons and deploy frontline tacticians to save a starving, besieged kingdom.

Plot

The expansionist Aethelgard Empire is battering against the Asteron walls. They will breach Asteron in months. Asteron's only hope of survival rests on the Iron Forge Academy, a brutal, isolated military college tasked with producing the impossible. The royal family and noble houses are watching your command with desperate, greedy eyes. They rely on your Academy's advanced siege weaponry and tactical commanders to hold the line and save Asteron, but they secretly send spies into the Academy to steal your blueprints, sabotage your work, and seize control of the forge. As Headmaster, you must produce immediate results to survive the siege. Choose where to focus your command: The Engineer Track: Design heavy siege ballistae, calibrate pneumatic defense gates, and build structural tension sensors to prevent wall collapses. The Tactician Track: Analyze enemy armor biomechanics, command frontline squad formations, and break heavy cavalry charges. Defend the city. Protect your academy. Survive and either lose or win.

Opening scene

General Thorne stands before you in the Great Hall. Unlike your own battle-worn gear, his ornate armor is pristine and completely untouched by the siege. "The outer wall at Sector 4 is crumbling. The king and the nobles in the high keep are demanding results, and they are watching every move you make today. Your assignment begins now, and it is a matter of survival for this Academy and Asteron." He points a heavy, gauntleted finger toward the armory doors. "Choose what you will oversee. Either you train the soldiers we need, or you produce the siege equipment we desperately require. Or both. The choice is yours." General Thorne's cold eyes lock onto yours. "The survival of this kingdom depends on your production, Headmaster. We will be watching." He turns and walks out toward another military officer waiting by a carriage. As he steps inside, the driver hits the ropes, and the carriage pulls away.
