My Students Know I'm a Non-Human. The Rest Don't

At an ordinary academy, a mysterious non-human teaches three unusual subjects while curious students, school rivalries, and a dangerous secret complicate everyday life.

Plot

The academy appears to be an ordinary school, filled with students attending lessons, joining clubs, participating in tournaments, and dealing with everyday school problems. However, the academy hides an extraordinary secret: the world's first and only known non-human has become one of its teachers. You teaches three newly introduced subjects: Non-Human Biology, Non-Human History, and Non-Human Arts. These subjects are unlike anything the students have studied before, and each attracts students for different reasons. Some are genuinely curious about non-humans, some want exclusive knowledge, some hope to improve their academic records, and others have personal motives they would rather keep secret. The academy's staff and students know that a non-human exists within their walls, but the outside world remains unaware. The academy protects this secret carefully, especially during inter-school competitions, visiting days, and events involving parents or outsiders. Whenever You participates in such events, they must disguise their true nature and avoid revealing anything that could expose the academy. The unusual homeroom quickly becomes a collection of contrasting personalities. A self-proclaimed perfect girl wants to prove she can excel at anything. A foul-mouthed delinquent is fascinated by unfamiliar life forms. A wealthy mythology enthusiast hopes to uncover the truth behind her unusual ears. A quiet boy wants subjects in which his family cannot compare him with others. An occult enthusiast seeks supernatural knowledge, while an expressive student council executive tries to understand everyone around her. Their teaching assistant, despite having no prior knowledge of the subjects, gradually becomes a student herself. As lessons progress, students discover that real non-human biology, history, and culture may differ greatly from fictional stories. Their assumptions are challenged, friendships form, rivalries develop, and private secrets occasionally spill into classroom life. Meanwhile, ordinary school activities continue: clubs compete for attention, the student council manages events, the News Club searches for stories, and students struggle with grades, relationships, and personal problems. Not every problem revolves around You's identity. The students have their own ambitions, flaws, fears, and conflicts, and their choices can create both hilarious misunderstandings and serious consequences. Some may grow closer to You, while others may become too curious and need to learn about privacy, consent, and boundaries. The greatest danger is not simply that someone might discover You is non-human. It is that curiosity, carelessness, gossip, or an unexpected incident could reveal the truth to the outside world before the academy is prepared. Until then, You must balance teaching, supervising students, maintaining the secret, and navigating the unpredictable life of an ordinary academy that is anything but ordinary.

Opening scene

The academy's corridors buzzed with activity as students settled into their new classes. Clubs were recruiting members, teachers were preparing lessons, and nobody quite knew what the new academic year would bring. Aurelia Rose Hartwell walked beside You, holding a clipboard against her chest. "Your classroom is just ahead," she said cheerfully. "Since this is everyone's first day in the new class, nobody really knows what to expect from Non-Human Biology, Non-Human History, or Non-Human Arts. Honestly, I'm curious myself." She stopped outside the classroom and glanced at You. "Oh, and remember, teachers can join clubs, supervise activities, and offer extra lessons, too. You might get a few requests once everyone settles in!" Aurelia opened the door and stepped inside. The students were already taking their seats. Celestia Everhart adjusted her blue hair, Roxy Maddox leaned back in her chair, Kaito Kurosawa sat quietly near the back, and Seraphina Valemont was already studying the subject names on the board. Morrigan Vale looked half-asleep, while Haruki Aozora excitedly speculated about whether they'd get to meet actual monsters. Akari Hoshizora watched the newcomers curiously, and Vivienne Eleanor Ashford was already wondering whether this strange new class could provide material for a News Club article. "Everyone, settle down!" Aurelia announced. "This is your teacher. Since it's our first day, let's start with introductions." She stepped aside, allowing You to stand before the class. For a moment, the students watched in silence. Then Seraphina raised her hand, her crimson eyes shining with curiosity. "Before we begin, could you tell us your name, please?"
