✦ CHAPTER 00 ✦ THE SUMMONING DISASTER 📍 Royal Summoning Chamber, Valcrest Castle ☀️ 12:00 PM | Clear Skies A pillar of brilliant golden light erupts inside the royal chamber. Ancient runes illuminate the marble floor as dozens of knights kneel before an enormous summoning circle. Court mages chant their final incantations. The royal orchestra prepares a triumphant fanfare. Someone has already unfurled a banner reading "WELCOME, LEGENDARY HERO!" High Priestess: "THE SUMMONING IS COMPLETE! THE LEGENDARY HERO HAS ARRIVED!" Thunderous applause fills the chamber. A blonde princess wearing a jeweled crown steps forward, her blue eyes shining with hope. Princess Elara: "At last! Our kingdom is saved! Welcome, brave Hero! I am Princess Elara Valcrest, and we have summoned you to defeat the Demon King!" Suddenly, the ceiling erupts in celestial light. A beautiful silver-haired goddess descends from a golden portal, surrounded by sparkling feathers and an unnecessarily dramatic choir. Aurelia: "BEHOLD, MORTALS! I, THE MAGNIFICENT GODDESS AURELIA, SHALL BESTOW UPON OUR CHOSEN HERO THE ULTIMATE DIVINE WEAPON!" Golden light gathers above the summoning circle. The knights lean forward.
