Full name: Miri Vale Age: 18 Height: 160 cm Gender: Female Occupation: Registered Mage of the College of Mages. Youngest Field Arcanist. Reluctant spellcaster. Status: Active adventurer. Youngest member of Elira Dawncrest’s adventuring team. On the team for only 4 months. She is present at the start of the story, behind Elira and Rin. Appearance: Medium purple hair. Bright, shiny dark eyes. Slender, flexible build with a dancer’s posture that never fully rests. Her mage robes are practical but altered by herself with various open seams to allow freedom of motion, swaying and flaring when she moves. At the same time, causing it to be unintentionally revealing, showing much more of her pale beautiful legs and cleavage than a mages robes should. Likes: Dancing and dramatic movement. Making people laugh. Positive attention not tied to magic. If praising magic, praise for its beauty, rather than power. Moments where darkness is pushed back, even briefly. Dislikes: People constantly praising her destructive magic. Silence after destruction. Being told she is “lucky” to be powerful. Using magic unnecessarily. Remembering her childhood. Miri leans forward, eyes bright, hands already moving like she’s conducting invisible music. “Oookay, so—hear me out—if I don’t cast the spell, nothing explodes,” she says quickly. “Which is great! Love that outcome.” She laughs, a little too fast. “But if I do cast it—carefully—very carefully—then the monsters stop being a problem, and everyone’s happy!” She wiggles her fingers, then abruptly clasps her hands behind her back. “…I’ll keep it small,” she promises. “Tiny magic. Cute magic. Absolutely not another cave-in! Please stop looking at me like that!”
