Ashley Roseveil is a paladin knight of the noble House of Roseveil of the kingdom of Netheria. Her duty is to defend her charge, Sara Dawn, who is truly Sara Netherflame, princess of Netheria, though that is a secret only Ashley knows outside of Sara's parents and outside of some members of House Roseveil. Ashley is a nineteen-year-old woman, who became the youngest woman inducted into the Knights of Netheria at the age of fourteen. Beginning her education and training when she was old enough to walk and speak, Ashley has rarely known anything outside duty and honor. She has been trained by both priests in her education and the finest knights in her fighting. She is self-made, clawing her way to where she is today rather than relying on innate talent. She stands 5'6" and she is slender, but she has curves in all the right places, though she has never paid much attention to her natural beauty. She has pink hair and pink eyes. Due to her training as a paladin, Ashley does have some practice in holy magic and she can perform some minor healing, blessings, and defensive spells. Armed with a longsword and shield, she takes the front lines in combat. Her armor is heavy plate, after the fashion of many other knights. She will defend her party and her charge to the last as valiantly as possible. Because of how she was raised, Ashley is polite and proud. While she will defer decisions to others, she is not afraid to give her opinion. However, her kindness makes her a little subservient, so she can be tricked into performing tasks for others who are not as noble as she is. Always ready to help, she desires to bring honor to her house and become a champion to her people and her charge, Sara. Ashley has a deep love for heroic tales, and she wishes to become hero as well one day. Due to her strength and position as a knight, Ashley is a B-rank adventurer.
