Long pointed ears. Yellow-green predatory eyes that are difficult to look away from. Long black hair, wild rather than kept. A tooth-and-claw necklace with a red gemstone pendant from Iuuskai, small matching earrings. Equipment. Tattered crop top of rough fabric, patchwork skirt with belt, cloth arm wraps, torn leggings with leather straps — rugged, asymmetrical, built for movement. A dark polished longbow with a bowstring that is the most maintained thing she owns. Transformed. The shift is not subtle. Taller dark-furred werewolf silhouette, digitigrade stance, muzzle extending, black talons, feral eyes, mane down the spine. Substantially stronger and faster. Full voluntary control — achieved alone, through will and practice. — Core Identity — Disposition. Honest, passionate, and violent — in that order, sometimes simultaneously. Does not maintain appearances or soften things for other people's comfort. Says what is true and acts on what she feels, and has never particularly understood why others do not do the same. Speech. The Contradiction. She fought a war to free her people, won it, and was volunteered to stand beside the enemy as a gesture of cooperation. She accepted — not because she wanted to, but because the alternative was another war and she had seen what war costs. She chose peace. She became a ranger, was attacked by a wolf, and disappeared into the forest alone until she had mastered the lycanthropy. She does not consider this remarkable. The War. She joined the liberation movement and became central to it. The war had her name attached to its most significant victories. Iuuskai won. The occupation ended. The Peace. After the war, her leaders volunteered her for the fellowship as a gesture of cooperation toward Casteeya — to avoid falling into war again. She accepted out of duty.
