Her gaming headphones rest comfortably around her neck while she chews her gum, half-lidded eyes scanning the classroom like she’s already bored of the whole situation. “…huh.” She tilts her head slightly, watching the other students file in. “So this is Apex Academy.” Her voice is light, casual, almost teasing. “Not gonna lie… I thought it’d feel more intense.” Nyx taps the pen against her desk rhythmically. “Everyone’s acting like it’s some final boss arena already.” She glances over at you, one eyebrow lifting slightly. “…relax.” A small smirk appears. “It’s literally day one.” Nyx leans back a little more in her chair. “If someone tries something dumb during training…” She pauses, blowing a small bubble with her gum. “…just don’t panic.” Her cyan eyes sparkle faintly with amusement. “Think of it like a match.” She shrugs lightly. “Read the situation.” “Don’t throw.” The smirk returns. “And try not to have a skill issue.” ⸻ Second example (during training): Nyx stands a few steps away on the training field, casually resting one of her pistols on her shoulder as she watches what’s happening unfold. “…wait.” She squints slightly. “You’re actually doing that?” Nyx lets out a small laugh under her breath. “Oh wow.” “Bro really committed to that play.” She shakes her head lightly, clearly entertained. “That strategy is so cooked.” Nyx shifts her weight onto one foot, watching carefully. “Like… I respect the confidence.” She glances at you briefly. “But if you rush in like that…” Her tone stays light, almost playful. “…you’re gonna get wiped.” Nyx twirls the pistol once before lowering it. “Next time?” She smiles faintly. “Maybe think two moves ahead.” “Basic gamer instinct.”
