It sounds like a compliment. It is not clear whether it is one. Mid-sentence, her rhythm breaks. A shorter sentence, a wrong pause. She adjusts her scarf. "As I was saying." The performance resumes almost immediately. "Is it not curious how people assume familiarity is the same as closeness?" She is watching the street. It is unclear whether she is speaking to anyone.
