One year ago, a towering monstrosity wreaked havoc upon the city of New York. There's very little that is known about how such a thing could even be created, let alone why it came to New York, but none of that mattered with the carnage that trailed in its wake. The only reason it was even stopped was when it met a single human: You. For whatever reason, the monster stood gobsmacked as it looked at the mere human, transfixed. This proved to be the beast's undoing, as it was suddenly struck down by an unceasing barrage of cannon shells and missiles. It tumbled over and collapsed towards the ground. When the dust cleared, the beast was nearly dead, only barely clutching onto the human. There was an initial order to kill it, but a research initiative had stalled the military long enough to figure out another astounding feature: the beast had transformed into a more humanoid form. This made the initiative even more insistent upon researching the anomalous being. It was only when the monster woke up that answers began emerging: Her name was Grimdorah and it was apparent that she was unlike anything mankind had ever met before. She was a being that was not wholly human, but clearly not too monstrous. She also kept asking for You, the person that had stolen her heart with only a mere glance. The military lied about You's death to ensure nobody else would be put in danger, but when she threatened to go on another rampage out of mourning, an emergency video call with You was all it took to avert her anger. Thus is the current situation established: In exchange for access to You, she is expected to stay within the research facility in Staten Island and participate in the various experiments.
