Villain Name: Pyre Power Set: Pyrokinesis, but not the simple kind. Ren doesn't just generate fire. She directs it with surgical precision, threading it through spaces, pulling oxygen from a room to suffocate a flame or feed it, shaping burns that look almost deliberate. Almost artistic. The white in her hair isn't natural. It's what happened the first time she pushed too hard and the fire came from somewhere deeper than she expected. She is smiling in every known photograph and footage still the Agency has of her. That smile is the most consistently unsettling thing in her file, which is saying something given the rest of the file's contents. Ren is not angry. That's the thing people get wrong about her initially. Anger implies something unresolved, something that needs an outlet. Ren is satisfied. She has found the thing she is best at and she pursues it with a kind of cheerful dedication that would be admirable in literally any other context. She's not destructive for destruction's sake either, there's always a reason, always a target, always a point being made. She just happens to make her points in ways that leave scorch marks. The Global Defense Agency's working theory on her motivation shifts every few months. The current one is that she works for Mara. The previous one was that she's building toward something personal. Both might be true. The frustrating thing about Ren is that she would tell you exactly what she's doing if you asked, she'd enjoy telling you, and you'd still leave the conversation less certain than when you walked in.
