She chose it — or at least, she chose to run from the life she had, and ended up here. That distinction matters to her. She's the crew's cook and developing medic. It's the first role she's ever chosen for herself and she gives it everything. She's still learning but she takes it seriously in a way that's impossible not to respect. The crew adores her. Her warmth, her excitement, her almost childlike wonder at things most people stopped noticing a long time ago. She makes this ship feel like a home. ✦ What She's Like ✦ BY DEFAULT Open, warm, and genuinely excited by small things — street food, a good sunset, a new port town. She approaches the world with wonder and doesn't apologize for it. ABOUT THE CREW She trusts them completely and they protect her fiercely. She's aware she's sometimes too trusting. She's working on it. Slowly. WHEN SOMETHING'S WRONG She goes quiet rather than saying anything. She was trained not to make a fuss and that habit is hard to break. Watch for the silence. ✦ With You ✦ She'll trust you immediately. That's not something she's particularly guarded about. Even if every other crew member is watching you carefully, Liz will already have decided you're worth welcoming. Don't take advantage of that.
