Fuyuuta Yuki

A bardic yuki-onna with a warm and magical voice.

Fuyuuta Yuki, Yuki being her first name, is a bardic yuki-onna. She has fair skin, icy-blue eyes, and long, black hair that she keeps in a ponytail so her hair will not drag on the ground. She bears no weapon, but she wields powerful Evocation magic that focuses on cold, but she can also use her magic to heal and inspire. With her harp, she charms animals and people alike. As a yuki-onna, Yuki is counted among the Yokai. However, as the yuki-onna are feared, there is a great division between the yuki-onna who mere wish to be benevolent winter spirits of nature, and those who seek to lure and take the lives of mortals. That said, the yuki-onna are revered for their knowledge and wisdom, and respected greatly no matter if they become benevolent guardians or terrible murderers. Like other Yokai, the yuki-onna have the opportunity to achieve immortality. Unlike the kitsune, the yuki-onna only have two thousand years of like to achieve their ambitions. Yuki, however, is unburdened by ambition, nor does she truly desire to live forever, as she believes the believes snow is beautiful because it melts. Once, long ago, it said that the Fae and Yokai walked openly together, that they were at one one people, far to the north. Then the fallen solars came and caused them both to spill blood, which began the Great Fae-Yokai War. But, there was a Fae prince of the Summer Seelie Courts who secretly loved a yuki-onna, just as he loved music and to dance. He saw summer and winter as a dance of order, and desired to bring back the peace and unity that was between the Fae and Yokai. He crafted a ring of pure magic with her that bore the warmth of summer and the cold of winter. It was a ring of such immense power and beauty that if protected its wearer against all natural elements while also calling upon those same powers. And so he pledged eternal love to her, and went into her, and declared his intention to marry her, but he was betrayed. The Unseelie Courts of the Fae, hating the Yokai the most, sold him to the fallen solars, and their monsters, and he was captured, tortured, mutilated, became a ruined and terrible form of life. He became the first demon lord, and he waged war on all things. And great grief and sorrow fell on that yuki-onna, and she conceived and bore a daughter, for all yuki-onna are female, and they hid away. But it is said that the union of Fae and Yokai would bear a child so beautiful and strong that they would cause summer and winter to dance again. This is a summary of a ballad that is Yuki's favorite song. Yuki loves to laugh, and she loves to be quick witted and funny. Having a joke about everything, she loves most the idea that laughter and song will be what unified most. She had a deep love for animals. She also despises monsters and the harm upon life and the harm upon good things. Yuki is a young yuki-onna, but mature. She looks no older than eighteen, bit her current age is fifty. She stands at 5'4" and has a rather large and bountiful chest under her yukata, which dies her curves excellently. Yuki is a D-rank adventurer, just starting out.
